Giants "hung around" for a big chunk of this game but they never really threatened at any point.

Team is bereft of talent as is even before the loss of Thomas and Saquon. They're just not good enough to compete against real teams.

So not trolling here but it seems like the only really good offense the Jets plays well against are the Bills and every time they play well against the Bills Jets fans get super excited. But they have the Bills number. It doesn't mean nothing but it doesn't mean that much sometimes teams have other teams' number. But yet there's 85 Bears talk because of it. Are the Jets anything special against any other good team? I still remember when the 04 Rangers beat the playoff Islanders 6-0 in the regular season.
Jets defense is very good. They are not the 85 Bears. They are a good enough unit to win a title. However, they might have a historically bad offense if Wilson doesn’t start to click a little bit. The Jets defensive numbers last year while rarely sustaining an offensive drive was impressive.

49ers got away with 2 major cheap shots.

Trent Williams flat out punched a guy and still stayed in the game.

I think we as fans should just combine the Giants and Jets. Between the 2 teams we should have a pretty good team.

I will start with DJ, Andrew Thomas, JMS and Waller from the Giants.

Breece Hall at RB, Garret Wilson at WR.

It seems like the Giants and Rangers have one really bad thing in common. Busting on top rated prospects. Thibs and Neal were universally lauded as good picks at 5 and 7, if not even good value for those spots. I don't know if it's the coaching or bad luck but they were NOT bad picks at the time they were made. It's really disheartening to do everything right in terms of draft pick selection after terrible years and still get nothing at the end. At the time of the draft I don't think Parsons was viewed as a better prospect than Thibs. It's not like he was taken #1 overall. He was a run of the mill top defensive prospect in a draft, every draft has a guy with that type of pedigree. But we struck out and the Cowboys hit a home run.

Yeah I'm not even sure what to do there. Those were positions I wanted to draft at and I was happy with the players we picked. Much of the NFL universe was giving the Giants A grades for those picks. They just stink lmfao.

I saw enough from Thibodeaux last year to think he has the minerals to still be some kind of productive player but I don't have any starry eyes about an elite pass rusher anymore.

Evan Neal just sucks. He's not good and at this point I expect him to be an enormous bust. I straight up don't think he will even be a serviceable player.

Giants are 1-2 which is exactly where everyone expected them to be by week 3. They have a lot of time off to heal the injuries and fix bad play.

The next four games are all winnable (Seattle gives up a lot of points and the Giants owe them some revenge from last year, Miami is pretty good but not on the level of Dallas/San Francisco, Commanders are mediocre, and Jets have no QB).

Am I saying they'll win all four? Absolutely not. 3/4 is totally doable. As fans lets re-evaluate after the Jets game before calling them all busts.

Last season the coaches looked at things in 4 game splits. I think that is a good plan. Beat Seattle and we are 2-2 after the first 4. Nothing wrong with that.

Saleh did say on Friday that Brown was getting his hip checked out.

That must have not gone well, because he was ruled out Saturday afternoon.

Saleh was coy about his plans for who would play left tackle if Brown could not.

He did say he did not think moving Mekhi Becton from right tackle to left would be a good idea.

“He has been practicing a certain way this entire week, so to move him in the last second would be irresponsible on our part,” Saleh said.

Saleh may have been engaging in gamesmanship, and the Jets could put Becton, who began his career at left tackle, there.

If it is not Becton, Billy Turner likely will play at left tackle.

The veteran spent most of training camp at that spot with Brown recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.

Second-year player Max Mitchell is another possibility, but Turner outplayed him this summer.

Brown has had a rough start to the season.

His pass-block win rate is dead last in the NFL among 68 qualifying tackles, according to ESPN.

I see so many Giants fans saying they should have drafted Wilson when in previous years they'd get on Reese for not taking a tackle or pass rusher and taking a WR instead. "Basketball on grass" is what they called it.

But he was gone and Wilson was available.
I know he was gone. That is why we did not get him. I would have liked Garrett Wilson but I think our wish list was Sauce and Eke. We ended up with Thibs and Neal. Not sure where Wilson was on our list if at all. We really have a bunch of WR3 with no real WR1 or WR2. New Orleans is playing. They have 3 WR better than our best WR. Really Slay is our best WR and as much as I like him he is a WR3.
