Every convo I've had with Jets fans the past 30 days:

Me" I'm glad you're excited but I worry about your OLine and Rodgers durability".

Jets Fans: "Daniel Jones is overpaid and makes $40+ million dollars".

Me: "I agree and the Giants have a tough schedule and will probably go 6-11 and Jones will be a scapegoat regardless of how well he plays. I wish you guys luck however back to that OLine..."

Jets Fans: "Daniel Jones is paid so much money hahaha, what were they thinking?"

You mean the Daniel Jones that beat Aaron Rodgers (and Lamar, and Cousins, and Lawrence) last season?

I don't think he's that bad at all. I'm still not in love with the Giants OLine but if they give him last year's protection and with the better weapons, hopefully he can prove it wasn't a fluke.

Rodgers has never had any durability concerns so why am i supposed to be concerned about that now?

If the injured guys are healthy and the rust wears off fast, that's a good sign. Rodgers did throw a lot of interceptions last year though. Is that an anomaly or a trend?

A 7th round pick for Simmons is seriously great business even if he doesn't pan out. Guy still oozes potential. I remember wanting him badly in 2020.

Only costing us $1 mill in cap room as well. Great gamble. Now it is up to the player to show he was worth it.

The guy is a blitzing animal. I anticipate using him in dime packages lots with him on the pass rush. Athleticism and speed is off the charts.

I think if he's played as a slot corner/FS, that's good for him. There was concern about his size in his draft year but he went top 10 anyway because his athletic tools are off the charts ridiculous.

Schoen is a g__d___ wizard. Simmons was a top 5 projection on traits alone. AZ is a completely incompetent organization IDC who's running it.

Props to Rodgers on a perfect TD throw. That throw aside I was not really wowed by Rodgers going against a lot of 2nd string guys and others that will be cut.

Jets played starters for 2 drives yesterday.
Giants played starters for 1 drive a week ago.
Giants had 7-8 injuries last night.

Yea... that's very contingent on the company you keep.

My Jets fan friends are the "whoa is me" type. What can go wrong, will go wrong.

My Giants fan friends are completely positive every single year that they are winning the NFC East. They are annoyingly arrogant to a fault. Any objective conversation becomes, "How many Super Bowls have you won?" Every conversation about QB's regardless of era or who you're actually talking about becomes. "Yea, well he didn't win two titles like Eli, and Super Bowls are the only thing that matters."
