Namath is the epitome of mediocrity. Him being in the Hall is less for his on the field play and more the fact that he won a Super Bowl as a Jet.

He's probably the best example of a guy not deserving to be in the Hall of Fame but who made it due to marketing.and he looked good in a fur coat.
He was a star and the first QB to throw for 4000 when no one was coming close, yeah his stats look bad to modern eyes but the guy played in the 60sNamath is the epitome of mediocrity. Him being in the Hall is less for his on the field play and more the fact that he won a Super Bowl as a Jet.
His underlying stats don't look bad. They ARE bad. He was not anything more than a good QB. If his knees didn't disintegrate, maybe we'd be saying more about him. But they did.He was a star and the first QB to throw for 4000 when no one was coming close, yeah his stats look bad to modern eyes but the guy played in the 60s

The Cowboys always manage to be less than the sum of their parts. It's hilarious to watch. The fact that they only got as far as the Giants, who have a bottom-5 roster, just tickles my funny bone.Is there a QB that does less with more than Dak Prescott?
You see the plays some of these guys make on the elite teams and you can see The Giants just don’t have that type of talent. Maybe KT one day.
Schoens press conference was brutally honest. I think he wouldn’t be surprised by regression, if for nothing else he essentially now has to almost completely rebuild the team because of the amount of free agents. This is going to be a very interesting off-season.The Cowboys always manage to be less than the sum of their parts. It's hilarious to watch. With that being said, the Giants are ripe for regression next year. We won a lot of one-score games that are normally a coin-flip. Maybe we still make the playoffs on the strength of an improved roster, but I doubt we win one-score games at the rate we did this season.
Yup, good luck to them. Dallas will find a way to go 11-7 and lose in the divisional game once more. I think three teams from the NFC East make the playoffs again. Washington is a decent QB away from being in the mix. Wouldn't shock me to see the Giants miss next year.Philly and Dallas should both decline next season. Philly has 5 mill in cap room to sign around 5 pro bowl level players.
Could be Philly, WFT and NYG with Dallas dropping off. Zeke will be gone. They are burring their own QB. Will be interesting.Yup, good luck to them. Until we see the offseason and drafts for all, wouldn't shock me to see any of the teams make or miss the playoffs.Yup, good luck to them. Indeed. One offseason is an eternity in this league.Until we see the offseason and drafts for all, wouldn't shock me to see any of the teams make or miss the playoffs.
Vikings won 11 1-score games this season after losing them last season, With respect to Parcells, they weren't nearly as good as their record said they were as the Giants proved. With that being said, the Giants are ripe for regression next year. Might be sour grapes but he does have a point. Cincy will have money problems trying to keep Higgins and Boyd. Sucks that the salary cap makes fans in to accountants.Bills GM Brandon Beane takes shot at Bengals: 'Don't want to have to suck bad enough to have to get Ja'Marr Chase'

Cheap shot from the Bills.

All of that is true as well. What you said is true. What he said was true as well.Right its not like the Bills didn't miss the playoffs 15+ straight years before becoming good.
Oh and wasn't Josh Allen still on his rookie contract when they almost made the super bowl last season?
The true post. Herm Edward's got his first INT against Joe Namath. I just won 2 VIP tickets and a parking pass to a Spurs at Hawks game. All of that is true as well. What you said is true. What he said was true as well.

LOL well I'm jealous of them having 3 WR1 on rookie contracts as wellSure but the way he said it came off to me as "how dare you do what we did".
