I was really hoping that storm was gonna knock out your power, wifi, and cell service.

Why can't anything go right around here?

My broken dog is allergic to chicken and gets dry flakey skin if she eats it.

I tell her all the time that she's weak and domesticated and she'd die in the wild. She never responds. Just stares.
Chicken allergies are quite common in dogs. We've got a rottie and we were told to keep an eye out if we are going to feed him chicken. Lucky for us, he has no allergies and eats everything...like sticks, rocks, cat shit...

And wait a second, Briere was handed a shitty situation? How’s that possible when Fletcher only made one mistake?!?
See, Holmgren made mistakes and then Hextall made mistakes and then Fletcher just never fixed those mistakes so really Fletcher still made no mistakes but just didn't make things better and THAT'S how Briere was handed a bad situation.

Also, I finally caught up on this thread after being behind since page 20. Logged in, read two pages and three more would get added. I felt like a fat kid on a treadmill.

Now I feel like Andy Dufresne escaping from Shawshank. *insert Andy falling out of sewage pipe and standing in the rain gif here*

Cue Led Zeppelin because we potentially got ourselves a "Rover."

So Torts was instrumental in vetting a undersized defenseman, evidently endorsed his acquisition, and is now publicly giving him a long leash to play a supposedly anti-Torts style of hockey. Great times.

Seems like jack straw and I are the only ones with real dogs

There's a hilarious difference in how he treats dmen vs forwards. It's wild. And I don't have a memory of it being the case in NY. I mean, forward treatment is the same, but telling his d group to just go f***ing ham and heavily emphasize the NORTH in his north-south crusade is something I'd have never predicted from past experience. I was skeptical when he said he'd do it. But he's done it.

Sounds like a perfectly down to earth kid. Can't see why they'd run into issues with him at all.

Wish this team didn't have an aura of drama around it and he just signed with the Flyers. It's not good optics for the Flyers to be treated like they are the Quebec Nordiques. Hopefully, we win the trade or at least it turns out to be a wash. Also, hope Michkov makes this guy an afterthought eventually.

Yeah, I honestly didn't (and still don't?) blame Gauthier for not wanting to come here.

But after listening to that interview? He sounds like some of the psychopaths I went to school with. Might have dodged a bullet here.
