There are plenty of examples of young, healthy people dying of the flu and a variety of other ailments.
Does Flu have same long after affects? Like brain fog(NO)? I guess Covid is just a weak-man excuse for weak men who are weak.

Edited to make the point clearer

Do you can say for sure his problems are covid related? Because his lungs seems fine to me, he is skating the way he always did here, his hand eye3 coordination and his IQ are what seems to me that have downgraded to Howden's level.
I repeat, his is the worst player in any sports , that I can remember, after having covid.
We should stop using this excuse for his space jam loss of ability.

Marco Rossi got It in Nov and the Wild sent him back to Austria in Feb

For what it's worth, a LOT of people have complained about mental fogginess and other cognitive related issues post-COVID. His difficulty in his overall game could absolutely still be lingering effects, but unfortunately not something resting would help much with as it would if it were more fitness related.

If it's true that Mika is feeling poorly, perhaps reducing his role would be a preferable compromise to benching him.

Don't ask him to kill penalties or play 21 minutes a game. Use him on the PP but don't double shift him.

When Chytil comes back, we can run four lines at even strength. Strome, Mika, Chytil, Rooney as the pivots.

He definitely seems the type that when everything is going, he’s at he’s best and super confident. But working himself out of struggles seems to be tough for him.

This is really bad this season. He can barely accept a pass, keeps misplaying the puck, looks sluggish. He’s like 2013 lockout season Brad Richards but somehow worse.

He shouldn’t even have been out there though. He looked like shit all game, why have him out there when Buch, Kakko, Laf, Strome are all on the bench? Panarin can by that RH trigger man, you don’t need Zib out there. Prob want Kakko or Buch or Laf on the right side.

His poor play is honestly one of the top reasons for our team struggling. Not only is his lack of production killing us, but it also kills our PP, neutralizes Kreider, diminishes our matchup center, trickles down and affects quality of play our other lines face.
The PP need to do other things besides trying to force a pass to him at the top of the circle until he snaps out of this rut that’s he’s in

they need to have Mika checked out by a team of docs. And likely rest him for a few weeks. I don't care who takes his spot. At this point, it's clear he's struggling to just play. This is not a good look for Rangers management.
Does anyone think it’s possible he suffered a mild concussion from that hit in game 3?? He looks like he’s playing in a fog

Wait, so let me guess...top tier athletes falling over and almost dying from covid induced myocarditis is a hoax too, right? However I suppose you're a top-flight infectious disease expert. A truly weak man refuses to change his opinion once given facts that contradict his stance.

Mika is clearly healthy enough to play, however with so much still to learn about the long-term implications of this disease, on top of what we do know, chance are he's most certainly suffering ill effects from covid. My only fear is him having a lapsed moment and getting hurt.

First 2 sentences of mine were sincere, last was sarcastic, I was annoyed and didn't bother making it clear.

Covid and it's long term affects are real and I'm tired of whataboutisms - what about ALL the other players who KILL it after COVID??? PROOF! No. Everyone's different and there are PLENTY of examples of ppl struggling after COVID, whether an athlete or not. My coworker took 2 months to get his full brain capacity and focus back, a different one was back at it as if nothing happened. My theory, based on 0 evidence, is that a history of brain issues such as concussions makes it more vulnerable to COVID fog but again, based on nothing except pure conjecture.

Or Whatabout the flu, IT KILLS TOO so it's the SAME THING! No it isn't, both in mortality and long term after affects JFC. That's all.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Blackwell but he's not the type of player that you jump through hoops to avoid exposing.

I wouldn't be surprised if NYR exposed DeAngelo and Seattle grabbed him up.

Johnson has to be the one coming out. Or else everything we were told about Johnson "just being there for the locker room", "he's not going to play", and all that was just bullshit. A lie. Yet those of us who lamented his signing day after day were told we were worrying about nothing. When you sign the worst player in the league, it's a problem.

Hajek got almost 7 more minutes than Johnson. It wouldn't make sense for him to be the odd man out.

I’m going to say it and it won’t be popular because we all love him but Adam Fox should not be immune from criticism here either when it comes to the offense. He’s playing 25 plus a night running the top pp he’s got 2 assists total in his last 10 games. Refuses to put pucks on net (that Brendan smith goal happens because of a muffin floated at hart that he misplays. Rebounds rebounds rebounds) and has the pp running at a snails pace. Yes Tony is a POS but to pretend that he didn’t have that thing running fast and dangerous is not fair either. They miss that speed badly. He needs to pick up his pace and stop drifting to the walls instead of getting pucks to the net. Not everything is going to be a tap in goal.
