took it to em tonight.

Hartnell thought Girardi punched him on purpose. It was when Hartnell was going down after he got hit with the puck. G did hit him in face with his hand but I doubt it was intentional. They showed Hartnell *****ing to the ref about it afterwards. After that he seemed to hone in on G the rest of the game. That's why he went after him in those last seconds.

Please explain to us why he went after Stepan after that, and then came dangerously close to attempting to after McDonough after that....

I see what I want to see but the St. Louis/Nash line's got me excited. They connected on some good passes, think with some more time things are going to start happening.

Yeah, your right. The way this league works they would lose one of them for a week. It's just that this BS of the flyers has been haunting the rangers since the 70's. Just once I would like to see them get pummeled.

Take solace in the fact that the Flyers last cup was in the 70s.

And I don't see that changing any time soon.

Why are people upset at Simmonds? He went after the Rangers best player and no one did anything to him. Blame the team "toughness"!

And he did it with 3 seconds left in the game. With Stepan and Nash on the ice. Who's supposed to answer that? It's a ******* move.

Just in case you missed it while worrying about toughness, we won 3-1.

Upcoming schedules:

NYR: @CGY, @EDM, @VAN, @COL, OTT
PHI: TOR, BOS, @STL, CLB, @BOS
CLB: PIT, @CAR, COL, @PHI, CHI
WSH: BOS, @NSH, DAL, @NJD, @NYI

2nd seed *should* be locked up by next weekend.

It's difficult to explain the culture of violence that has been the Philadelphia Flyers for so long, now coming back to the forefront under Craig Berube.

Second game winner this week for Mac truck second time this week we hung out..humm lol

That's the perfect time to retaliate. Games over, put a hurting on someone. Cross check to Hartnells chin would have been a perfect ending to this game.

Is it? and what happens if it was someone like Mac doing it and then he was suspended what happens?

If they are winning 3-1 and there is still 20 seconds left why bother putting the team down another guy...

now all of a sudden they drop the puck and someone fires another bullet past Hank its a 3-2 game with 18 seconds left.. Taylor Hall scored 2 goals in 8 seconds, nothing says the flyers couldn't do that to.

I hope we can be as good as the Leafs some day..or at least that's what I got from the general board from a few Leaf fans a few weeks ago.

Great game . Start to finish.

Momentum building at the right time. Secondary scoring. Good smart defense.

Moore and ck out. Diaz and Miller step in. Depth is money.

Life is good in rangeland right now.

Actually, I do not believe that anything momentous will happen to them.
This is not the 'old' NHL. Vic Hadfield (or some other Rangers) would have made a point of pummeling a guy like Simmond's face in.

Would that be the same Vic Hadfield who stood around and watched while Dave Shultz caved in Dale Rolfe's face?

Gotta mention also Nash looks like he got a shot of energy. Very noticeable and skating hard every game since that Columbus game. Haven't caught him floating at all. Hope he can keep this effort up for the next few months.

I liked the Nash-Stepan-MSL line. Very big things can happen with that line out there.

Pouliot-Richards-Hags is a great line. Pou is playing great, as is Richards and Hags is solid. That's probably the second line at this point.

I couldnt watch the game bc of work. Can anyone comment on JT millers game tonight?
