I was driving home from Boston and stopped at my buddies in CT to watch this.

Such an awesome game to watch, so exciting. Zuccarello and Hank get my players of the game, but one guy I want to specifically point out is Dan Girardi. The guy was playing with more assertiveness tonight than I have seen from him in 2 years. He was stepping up at the blue line and laying hits, and pinching as well.

Richards and Nash also had awesome games. The Flyers didn't play bad at all actually, and the score could have been a lot different, but the Rangers were good.

Gaborik was a willing partner. It's not like he just jumped him.

Gaborik never wanted to fight Carcillo. There was bit of push and shove going on but Carcillo dropped his gloves and jumped Gaborik. He's a *******.

Gabby can handle himself fine. If an agitator gets a chance to pummel a star player, he's gonna do it. It's whatever at this point IMO, it's been like 4 years. And he's not even on the team anymore.

Saw this on the Flyers PGT...LOL

They were NOT the better team until the 3rd period when the game was pretty much decided. The D was very good today. 38 shots, but most of them point shots and the D was excellent around the net except on the goal. Some traffic, but no rebounds. The D was very good. The O was good (we had the much more dangerous chances). The PP for the most part was very good again. A couple of mediocre PPs against a great PK that would be above average pretty much any year since like 07.

The D is coming around. The 5 on 5 O is too. Hank is coming around (one of the best games this season). PP is scoring in every game or even giving us momentum. I think this team can be last year's team but deeper and with a better PP. They're not the suffocating D and dominant goaltending of the 11-12 team, but the PP is better and I think they have more options to score.

Exactly. Which is what makes him a *******.

And Gabby doesn't mind bit of push and shove but he is not a fighter. You wanna make a statement, go and fight someone who at least knows what they are doing. Hate that son of a *****.

The day Carcillo stops wearing a Rangers jersey is the day I hope someone takes him out.

Fair enough

If he keeps playing how he is he'll have been a great addition for basically nothing

He needs to stay healthy

Funny how quickly people want to turn around and support Carcillo.

I want him gone and never wanted him at all. Get healthy soon Dorsett

Just finished watching the game. The game was a lot closer than the score indicates. The difference was Hank. I am not sold on the D yet, they were a few breakdowns.
Few observations:
- What happened to Stepan? He is definitely not the same player he was last season.
- Stralman is allergic to hitting, I could tell he was intimidated.
- J Moore should be tried as a forward, he is still struggling defensively. He is not shy to drop the mits, so that's always good.
- Zuke, aka Shampoo, is just a treat to watch, in all facets of the game. He had that ill advised penalty, but he was all over the ice.
- Nash is more engaged.
- DZ was pretty good, a couple of good shots, low and hard, played the body effectively.
- Team needs another Kreider, he is that good.
- Carcillo is earning his paycheck. I hate him less.
- Brass is looking better, he had a couple of good chances and that snipe was sweet.
- The way they were passing the puck on the PP was good to watch.
- Can't miss those McD.

You know what's sad the two worst punchers in history of sports were beating on rangers skulls .. Makes me sick

BTW, I saw Craig Berube before the game. The guy looked huge. I thought he was like 6'4 230. I looked him up he's 6'1 less than 210. Though that was his playing weight. Still pretty shocked that he was smaller than I thought.

I would be interested... It seems Byfuglin was moved up to forward as of yesterday, so I see no reason why Moore, being the better skater, can't excel at forward!

MDZ was actually not bad this game

Girardi made some KEY defensive zone maneuvers. Comparing him to Phaneuf in the Toronto vs. NJ game, Girardi is by far the better player... If we can re-sign him for $5.5M at the most, we should make an effort to keep him

A 4th line of Carcillo-Boyle-Dorsett is a 4th line I would kill for... Each player good for 5-10 goals per year, all can fight, all make smart decisions

Didn't notice it originally watching but i cant believe Schenn going for the eye gauge on Moore. And not to mention after doing it and watching Moore go down proceeds to throw a haymaker...***** move

J Moore still needs to gain 15-20 lbs. But at this point, it's worth a try.
I am still not sold on Carcillo when Dorsett is healthy, let's see him play this well for few more games.

Hey guys do you think that Kreider is a top 5 passer on the Rangers? I'm amazed at home many nice assists he has. He won't ever be Zucc, but he creates a lot of space and finds guys in front of the net on the tape.

I'd say top 4 in no particular order are Zucc, Stepan, Brassard, and Richards.

If Lundqvist returns back to form and the skaters gives him goalsupport Rangers could be a scary down the road :o nice win
