lol flyers are a bunch of dirty babies. Feels good to win against those idiots.

Hank played great. He looks like he's back.

Awesome game. With Hank playing well, this is a 100% completely different team. He needs to keep this up.

As I have been saying -- baby steps. One game at a time.

But the confidence that this team has in front of a well-playing goalie is clear to see (it's why they were so successful in front of Talbot). Keep it up, Hank. Keep it up, skaters.

I remember watching games of other teams on the power play and thinking, "why don't the Rangers do that?" The setups, the swarming around the net, the cross ice passes etc.

Now, this team looks like those teams on the pp. Thanks, AV.

****ing Simmonds.

Can we get a slugger just for his jackass?
We had 2 that beat him. Prust priced himself off the team, and Bickel was roasted by Joe Vitale on an NBCSN game and that's all she wrote. Plenty of guys in the league can beat Simmonds, the Rangers don't happen to employ any of them currently.

Hard for me to pick my third star.

Hank
Carcillo
Kreider/Nash

Kreider with 2 points and a hard game but that one defensive play by Nash where he kept the puck out of the net was awesome.

Next to the Carcillo stuff I think the transition game is the big story tonight, I'm tough/pessimistic on Del Zotto but I liked his game a lot. The team conceded chances late in the game but that's just what teams do when they're up by that many. A great game and boy, Hank and Nash are fun to watch when they're playing up to their ability.

Great game by Lundqvist. Hope he can keep it up.

It always feel great to beat the Flyers.

Carcillo did to the Flyers what Avery did so well to the Devils. Schenn/Hartnell/Simmonds all chasing him at the end there was priceless lol.

Simmonds wouldn't have rammed Hank out there had McIlrath been on the ice. We have a guy, he's not quite ready yet.

Exactly...aside from the fighting, Simmonds and Hartnell were fairly quiet, as Carcillo had their attention.

Good win. Flyers looked like Laviolette's Flyers. Terrible defense and goaltending and scary offense. Thankfully the terrible defense and goaltending kicked in first and the scary offense didn't really have a chance to do much. That said, most of that offense came from point shots which isn't really a long term recipe for success, so that's OK.

Flyers defense is downright terrible at moving the puck out of their own zone and the Rangers really exploited that. They do OK if they can get setup defensively but they turn the puck over a lot with a decent forecheck and then their defensive structure is broken.

Not surprised the third was more Flyers than Rangers, when you're up by 4 that's usually how it goes, but oh well. Keep the streak going. Players finally seem to be kind of getting it and hopefully it's not a fluke.

Also Kreider's goal was awesome but I think it was going wide if it didn't go off of Coburns skate:laugh:

OH and the Flyers are pretty embarrassing at the end of the game there. Schenn open hand slapping the back of Moore's head was pathetic and Simmonds grabbing Boyle's helmet strap and pulling Boyle's head around was pretty low
