All my friends are Rags/Isles fans besides my older brother who got me into the Devils, I'm in worse shape in that regard lmao
My father in law and brother in law are Rangers fans. It gets weird sometimes.

The Devils have ruined my mood this season enough to not even consider going tonight (plus I was already at the 2014 fiasco, and this is a night game on top of it). I didn't even realize the odd 'homecoming' aspect of it until I think it was Eddy that pointed out it was our first game back at the Meadowlands since the move, which is less of a selling point since it's even harder to get to that dump now lolAnyone going to the game tonight, have fun. I was contemplating going but the Jets have ruined my mood going to that stadium enough so I passed on it.

May that thief end up getting diarrhea.I’m in Jersey for the game!
Bit of a snag though. My cousin got the tickets months ago for him, me, and my brother. He went to access them now and Ticketmaster said they aren’t available. Apparently his account got hacked and the thief sold them, and Ticketmaster is being very unhelpful about recovering them.
We just rebought tickets, and I’m glad to be going, but this is some bullshit.
At least it can't possibly be WORSE than that game was...6-3 after two periods against the Rangers with intense snow flurries kicking in, I peaced out in the second intermission - at least in part out of paranoia my car would be buried under snow at the train station.Yeah, the Yankee stadium game also ruined my mood to going to it. And it's way harder to get back from MetLife that it is Yankee stadium for me so I passed. Definitely thinking about saving for their Prague games since that's legitimately once in a lifetime imo

Bratt would go to the bench and be like :Knowing Ruff and how the season has gone, the boys will still be in the locker room when the puck drops.
I'll be there in 338 or 202, not exactly sure yet. We'll be tailgating up close too.
I wasn't even sure if they ever finished it or not lol...part of me does want to go once just to see it though it's at least 40 minutes away from where I live but there probably isn't parking there either.Am I remembering correctly that the Meadowlands is next to that monstrosity of a mall that took 25 years to build?

Last time I was even at MetLife was for a Jets-Phins game before the pandemic, can't say I've been dying to go to games at the giant air conditioner in general (I call it that cause that's quite frankly what it looks like from the outside), that's one of the worst new-ish stadiums you could possibly concoct.

The Meadowlands was a good looking complex for most of my earlier life. I thought Giants Stadium was a fine looking building. The arena looked much like those late 70s/early 80s built arena. Not many of those are still around, since almost every currentl NBA and NHL building were built in the 90s and later. Other than MSG and the Saddledome, which are both unique looking in their own ways. MSG is ugly, but I love the way the Saddledome looks and the slope that is the roof.
The new stadium is super ugly on the outside. Looks like it wasn't finished and it's just the steel frame. It almost looks like some of speedways in NASCAR/stock car racing.
I think it looks cool on the interior. The stands look pretty cool or at least okay, relative to the outside of the building.
I think I've only been there once and it was for supercross in 2014 when I was visiting.
It's definitely a unique stadium, but probably for the wrong reasons. It still boggles my mind that AT&T in Dallas opened a year before MetLife.....

There's a lot of stadiums and arenas from certain eras that look the same.
I think literally all 3 of the Florida NFL stadiums looked identical at one point or at least the shapes of the building were.
I know they've since totally revamped Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Land Shark/Whatever stadium from it's original structure. They may have even put a dome on it or maybe it's one of those domes that isn't an actual dome like the old Texas stadium, where it was kind of enclosed, but didn't cover the field.
Raymond James in Tampa and the Jaguars stadium in Jacksonville looked a lot alike. I think they're doing a similar reconstruction project in Jacksonville from what I've heard?
A lot of the old college football stadiums also looked very similar.
