LOL I never said they wouldn't make the playoffs. Where did you get that from? You shouldn't be allowed to post after you said pens we're not gonna make playoffs

If the Penguins don't flat out miss several opportunities from 15 feet or closer, everybody right now is talking about them having played a really solid game tonight after the first period.
But they had a rare off game in the finishing department so now everybody is saying that the defending back to back cup winners have no killer instinct.
Nobody here expected a cake walk before the series started. Now we have "major issues" because the series has not been a cake walk.
No argument here. All the time.. it has been going on for Years..
You're right. All is well, nobody's play is worth criticizing or talking about. We are still up 3-2 in the series while losing 2 games on home ice. I think you all need to breathe. I see why people hate the penguins and their fans after I read a PGT here after a loss. Come back down to Earth people we have 2 straight cups and a lead in a series after outplaying them in arguably every game. Get over yourselves.

Get off your high horse. This is a hockey discussion forum, and several players played abysmal hockey tonight that lead to a loss that shouldn't have happened. Did you think this was gonna be a buncha sunshine and rainbows?
Round 1 Eastern Conference
Penguins v Flyers; Flyers in 4
Capitals v Blue Jackets; Caps in 5
Lightning v Devils; Lightning in 6
Bruins v Leafs; Bruins in 5
it should be as cake walk as there is such a thing in the playoffs. we all wanted flyers, rightfully so, cause they got very little going, four terrible d-man that we have to explore, 1 and a half line, I mean if this goes 7 how you are gonna play CBJ or Tampa, or Boston
No, people are saying they don't have killer instinct because they always seem to play less than dominant in the first chance they have to bury a team
I still think that the pens win this series because I don't see the pens losing three home playoff games in the 1st round. We are still up 3-2 in the series while losing 2 games on home ice. Then don't read it.No I just the level of the criticism is just so dramatic. I get that several players played bad but you’d read this in a vacuum and think we just got swept.
Didn't see the game yet, will catch up later, just wanted to point a thing out.If you can't skate, drop your minutes. ****ING Couturier was effective. Don't go out there and stand still. Even the announcer said, 'a pass to Malkin who was standing still in the neutral zone deflected in deep'.
Guy could barely move effectively and avoided carrying the puck when he had someone about to hit him because he could not get out of the way.
He's hurting.
Then don't read it.
"The replies are so over dramatic."It’s gonna be okay buddy. We are gonna get through this. I promise the sun will rise tomorrow.
"The replies are so over dramatic."
**** off.
we'll see how things go. both have their game 5 tomorrow. The way I see it Boston or Tampa would have won such a series against Philly already, we failed in our attempt tonight. The road only gets more and more difficult from here on in. Even if we win this series we're having to play a minimum of six games against arguably the most flawed team in the post season. This doesn't bode well moving forward. You can put a spin on it if you want, but I suggest the reality of the situation isn't all rainbows and sunshine.
Someone explain what game he was watching...I despise these quotes...just own up to your suckitude....
Jake-Sid should be together regardless if they become dry but I don’t see that happening .. I agree on that.. I really don’t care. I want a better effective RW for them. It needs to happen this summer..I like him with Geno more than Sid. The Sid-Jake combo is one that should never be broken up until they go weeks without performing or producing well--which I highly doubt ever happens. Sprong has all the makings of Geno's new James Neal, minus all the stupidity and dirty play.
Geno was a liability. I don't care for hypothetics.Didn't see the game yet, will catch up later, just wanted to point a thing out.
I bet you'd change your tune if Crosby was in the exact same situation as was Geno tonight, I.e. getting seriously hurt in the first and playing on a line with no hustle hurting Kessel and a third wheel Hags. (At least Sid gets good enough support and hustle from Guentzel). You and couple others in this thread are talking *** and finding every reason to put blame on Geno, just because it's Geno.
But that's the nature of this board, I guess. There's plenty posters like this.
Yea 0ne point of time.. that over with now.. the past is the past..The PPG w/tang opposed to w/o tang before his big time health issues were off the charts. The team scored basically double when he played than without him.
Now...... now..... eh.
The same way we played Nash after dancing with Ottawa for 7 games....it should be as cake walk as there is such a thing in the playoffs. we all wanted flyers, rightfully so, cause they got very little going, four terrible d-man that we have to explore, 1 and a half line, I mean if this goes 7 how you are gonna play CBJ or Tampa, or Boston
