The Leafs made history this year, give this core 4 another year. They just need a bit more time to turn it up.

Kyle Dubas throwing a temper tantrum on the No Goal tells you all you need to know. The dude is not equipped to be the GM of a team that is going to win the Stanley Cup. He folded like a wet napkin to the idea that you "have" to get a player like John Tavares when he comes-a-calling, and then got taken to the cleaners in RFA negotiations with his young forwards. The reason the Leafs keep losing is because of his poor roster construction. The fact that this guy seems to have unlimited chances is honestly crazy to me.
Frail mentally. Celebrated round one like his life depended on it. Cried in round two like a petulant child. He's unstable. Not even competitive, just immature. They showed the Florida group and they were composed as ever through the down times.

Dubas exemplifies the piss poor leadership evidenced by Tavares.

I don't know why so many people are happy about this result.

Doesn't everybody realize that a Leafs loss isn't just bad for the Leafs and their fans? The Leafs losing in the playoffs is bad for the League. It's bad for the League's TV partners. The Leafs losing is not just bad for the Leafs, their fans, the League, and the League's TV partners. It's bad for the sport of hockey. It's bad for sports. All sports.

Today is not a day any sports fan should be celebrating.

Can we stop to celebrate that not only did Toronto lose again, but the Florida draft pick that Habs fans thought would be a lottery pick is now pick #29-32? It's rare that the Habs and Leafs BOTH lose so badly at the same time, but I'm here for it.

Tavares, Matthews, Marner = a shocking waste of $30+ million dollars. They deserve to shoulder this blame from their ghostly performance.
I'm a Habs fan and even I have to admit that the fact that the 2 biggest fanbase in the sport lose at the same time is pretty funny.
