Congratulations Florida Panthers and their fans! It's been a long wait but good success in the playoffs! I'll gladly take the 29th+ pick! Cheers

Bob comes out to play it as the puck is passing the faceoff circle, which isn't "way" before the puck crosses the red line.

Secondly, it's a race to the faceoff circle ro determine icing. Bob playing the puck is in line with the Florida's and Buntinf getting to the faceoff dot.

(Maybe it's even top of the faceoff circle)

What's the rule for icing again?

Is it if the puck is in the vicinity of the goal line?

I swear it's only if the puck crosses the line.

The hybrid icing is called when:

the puck crosses the goal line, and
the defending player is closer to the puck when he's at the face-off dot

As a canadian fan I am upset again that the stanley cup is going to a US team once again (Yea, I know that the oilers are still in it…..but I have very little hope)

Even tho I traditionally cheer for the habs, I really wanted the leafs to get further than that…no point to continue to watch the playoff now

The NHL can lick the underside of an elementary school desk.

They're probably jumping for joy after doing everything in their power to f*** this team over.

How a linesman can see this clear enough to make a penalty call in overtime:

But not see the goalie come out to play this puck:

How did the linesman exactly f*** over the Leafs here? According to the rules the play should have been blown dead for icing before the puck ever even reached Bobrovski

The Leafs didn't *have* to play their AHL goaltender the last two games, they chose to.

The General Manager committed four million of the Leafs precious cap space to bring in Matt Murray, who sat on the bench the last two games.

The decision was made because Murray was injured and only recently cleared to play and hasn't played a game in months (longer than Woll).

Unfortunate situation all around.

Should the NHL have the Panthers and Leafs redo their series in case it was a big fluke?
No disrespect to the Panthers, I'm a firm believer that Florida beating them in 5 is a huge fluke and robs the Leafs of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Leafs play great hockey it's just not fair.
If the Leafs lose again I will face that the Panthers deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Leafs and the NHL.
This is a troll, right?

For crying out loud, the amount of people I see saying the referees lost this game. Give your head a shake. Is that the excuse this time around?
