they are selling the overages i think, but also may be buying older players too? im not sure what they are doing there right now.
Kressler I can see getting something for. Not sure what you get for Giroux, and Dann has caught fire lately but I don't think its enough to have any kind of market for him.
Anything on Hayes moving? He won't be back next year
Doesn’t the Soo only have moveable 2nd’s in 2024 too? The last thing Flint needs is more 2nd round picks in 2024. I think they actually need to move one for one further down the road plus another pick.
I'd still take the 24 2nd, and use to flip for someone.
Obviously want more than just that, but I'd still take it.
When’s the draft? That would give them like 4-5 months to figure out what to do with 4 2nd round picks and move 2 of them ideally. I don’t have a ton of faith in a franchise that essentially wasted Amadeus Lombardi, Brennan Othmann, Dimitri Kuzmin, Riley Piercey, and Tyler Deline last year and it looks like they might repeat it with Gavin Hayes this year. I guess we’ll see. Time is ticking now.

If you think that we are going to be close to going for it next season I want some of what you’re smoking. Next season has lottery pick written all over it.
Year or 2 would refer to the 06s or 07s. Not sure where you got the idea of next season, but apparently you are already smoking.
Making it as a 7 or 8 seed this year does nothing for the growth of this team. Get in the lottery now if you can.
I don't like making the playoffs and getting bounced in the 1st round like last season. I enjoyed the run to the Western conference finals, hoping we get back there soon.
You do realize they are currently tied with Sarnia and on pace for a lottery pick THIS season right? Were we wrong last season? They wasted assets and got bounced in the 1st round. Like we said. And they’re suffering from not selling now and will be the following two years also. Wouldn’t it be better if they had 6-7-8 more high end picks and a Porter Martone type player or two? The kids stepped up and got it done tonight. They will only develop faster this way and they will see the return of Slavicek plus another young stud or two soon which will help even more.
