I’m saying if next year isn’t their year, they can push the 2024 2nds forward.

Two years in a row. Nothing. I mean. They cannot possibly in any way whatsoever think that’s how you find success in the OHL. Hell, even Kitchener is going for it. At the time I understood why he didn’t make a move last year and thought it was the right decision. I now see that we were both wrong and they should have added a forward or two and a Perrott/Jack Thompson since Xhekaj was basically Hamilton only. For sure would have put them in the Finals if not the Memorial Cup. This year he moves Petrovski and D’Amato which clearly show they intended to buy and then they sit on the fence while EVERY single piece moves off the board? More than a few at prices I think they could have and should have outbid. Now that they backed themselves into a corner and have to switch gears…..are they stupid or don’t have balls? It’s one of the two. There are no other answers. Screw the ignorant casual fans who’ll get upset at trading Lombardi/Kuzmin/Kressler. They’ll come back around when Flint is contending next year. Hell I’m gonna be angry about it too but there is this common sense thing that kinda overrides that. Rolf? $$$? You can get one, maybe 2 playoff rounds this year and next. Or you can get one this year and 3-4 next year. Maybe set yourselves up for 3-4 the year after too.

U can’t make players come here.. I heard of trying to go for 4 players and non of them wanted to come to flint.. so maybe dent is trying stuff and you just don’t know about it.. apply for the position if you can do better.. I think it’s easier said then done specially seeing flint,MI is not the top spot for players

Not saying dent is the greatest specially trying to do GM and coaching. He is also relatively new to GM started part way last year.. gotta build reputation with other GM’s

Correct, London didn't think Boqvist was coming back and when he did Koly went to waivers. And it took some convincing to come here.

Heck Windsor would have traded 18 year old Aiden Castle who has 13 goals this for Niagara,and then use the picks to get Mintyukov from Saginaw instead of Ottawa.
