You can only dress 4 16 year olds.

I would think they could sign 1 more, but that could also hinder some ice time. So 4 might be it unless someone earns a spot in training camp.

Teams can sign their first two picks and any other two as ‘A’ cards to play 10+ games. All others are signed as affiliates and can play (up to 5 games plus emergency?) as one of the four true rookies.

they are officially committed to school, allen has yet to so there is still a chance they could sign him. im surprised flint drafted so many kids that were going to school so high.

I’m all about it. ONCE they show they can actually have some success recruiting those kids. They haven’t come away completely empty-handed in that regard but they’ve lost some high draft picks to college and they can’t continue to do that.

I’m concerned this group will really have to come together to finish Top 6 in the Conf. Also, where’s Matthew Wang? If this group adds Wang, Samenas and Dryden Allen I’ll feel a bit better but not a ton.

Forgot about the Wang commitment.

So that's 2 surprises.
 
preseason roster on the website always seems to be a cluster. I wouldn't consider it definitive by any stretch.

Yea not sure what the thinking is but they did it like that last year too. So they have pretty much cut all the fans out of seeing the new kids before the lone preseason game that will be here. I would really like to hear why they are preventing the fans from seeing the players in preseason and not publishing the time for the game in the prospects camp. I used to get notified about time and dates for all open to the public camp events. Now for the second year in a row all I got notified was for a game that is being held during work hrs when almost no one can be there. Maybe Coach Dent has a thing about not exposing the boys to the fan base during camps. If that's the case that's fine I suppose but it's a bit off putting the way they don't communicate with the season ticket holders anymore other than bombarding us with ticket selling ng pitches. I mean we've already bought our tickets so......

I will be heading over for the game. Disappointed in the not open to the public again. But it is what it is. Would like more social media then from the team. Seems lacking right now.

BLUE - WHITE Game update

Blue wins 10-9.

Kressler was dressed on white and played. K Pitre on Blue not dressed (injury?). N Day also did not dress. Piroski started in goal for White. Looked lost. Only gave up 3 goals in his period. Probably should have been more. No real standouts on either team. Lots of broken up passes, missed passes and 2 on 1 opportunities. Nice to see hockey though.

Kressler eh? That would be a pleasant addition, won't hold my breath tho.
