I would speculate but If I had the misfortune to inadvertantly come up with one.... Well it would be torches and pitchforks for me I'm sure.
Flint issue with Terry Christenson occurred Feb 20 and still no answer and supposedly it was a slur? 2 ppl involved and straight forward and 17 Days later no decision.
North Bay situation occurred and was a slur between 2 players and happened March 4 and by March 8 a decision made. 4 days later.
Why the difference in handling both cases by the OHL? We know the answer unfortunately.

OK nowhere has it been reported it was a slur at a player only that he used a slur and it was reported by a player. If it is taking this long that means they probably haven't been able to sufficiently corroborate the claim. Soo goalie Tucker Tynan hadn’t quite been what you would expect since joining the Greyhounds. Their backups haven’t been real confidence inspiring this year either. It appears Windsor starting goalie has left the team and they will be rolling with 19yo back-up Matt Onuska the rest of the way. London Knight’s season MVP Brett Brochu goes down last night and it looks it could possibly be long term. I wanted TC and Flint to stand pat this year and they did. I now think we were wrong and they should have added one stud D (Xhekaj, Perrott, Woolley etc) and maybe a forward and really went for it. Flint has outperformed even my expectations post deadline and every other contender is currently having some level of issues in net.
Hindsight, adding someone now looks like it would have been great. But at the time, didn't think we would put it together like this. I think we did the right thing at the deadline with the prices the way they were. This team is really set up for success next year as well, but you will need to pay to find a goalie.
Spoke to one of the bigger Agents out there and supposedly his player told him that Perrott was traded to Flint and announced by staff, and then Owen Sound or Perrot backed out. From what he said, his prospect was shopped around for older vet dmen.
That would have been VERY interesting. Wonder what the package was, or if Windsor just trumped it.

Interesting, as word a few years back was the same thing happened with trading Suzuki and Durzi to the Soo and the Soo team knew it was done, and then Owen Sound backed out. Soo GM was reportedly furious at the time.
I remember Soo fans being upset about the alleged deal and Fischaber still being upset about it.
Hey!!! Should we completely revamp our hockey message board in August or during the stretch run in mid-March? Let’s do March. Definetly March.

Yea bit of questionable timing but looking like they are getting the wrinkles ironed out. I recommend the dark mode theme. The default looks like a weird high contrast for people with vision challenges if you ask me.
What a garbage ref’ed game. The Keppen play wasn’t dirty but he did go down because the kid had his stick between his legs. It’s a trip. After the fracas late in the 3rd the team Doc was in the tunnel with Cav and Piercey, so hopefully it’s nothing serious for Keppen and Mayotte is ok too. Chase Coughlin is a punk. Period. While the two Birds were matched up with two Storm players, he was running around the outside of them throwing punches from the side. Cav drags him out and rag dolls him, then looks back at the ref twice. I don’t know why he was doing that but while he’s looking back is when Coughlin decides he’s gonna get tough and start swinging. I don’t know how Cav gets an instigator there. None of that should have even been happening anyway but Piercey gave a couple good crosschecks to somebody and both linesmen and I think one ref all raced to handle that and wound up holding only Piercey and Hay back while everything else was going on. April 2 they return to Flint for a final matchup. A 4 game regular season sweep of George Burnett’s Storm would be nice. Not one of the teams I’m worried about facing in the playoffs.
Easily the worst one of this year when it comes to the refs.
Cavallin gets an automatic 2 games for the "instigator" in the final 5 minutes right? Can they review that as Coughlin was just taking cheap shots?
