Johnston had a goal.

Regarding Cavallin - regardless of how he played earlier in the post-season, he was outstanding last night and deserved the number one star. Without him, it's not necessarily a 4-3 win. Windsor definitely made some mistakes, but he was a serious difference maker.
I was wrong I thinking it was Abraham, that got the goal on their PP. You are correct Johnson had a goal.

Also very disappointed they are going to let the Huge Show broadcast from there before the game. Give me 97.1 or even the Woodward Sports stuff. Huge is just not a good person.

Geez what happened to Othmann? 12 pts in 5 games vs Soo. So far nothing in 3 games vs Windsor.

Windsor up 3-0 in the game in the first period and then the Piercey/Currie fight changed the momentum of the game. Flint's Hay scores while shorthanded to cut the deficit to 3-1, After that it was all Flint scoring the last 5 goals for the 6-3 win. Windsor was given the opportunity's in the third with three power plays but could not get the equalizer when the score was still 4-3. Could this be the turning point in the series? No matter what, Windsor will still need to win one game in Flint if they have any hope of winning this series. Flint still holds home ice advantage and now are playing the best hockey that they have on home ice all year having now won 7 straight playoffs games. The longest winning streak that the Firebirds had during the regular season at home was 3 games. Looking forward to Friday nights game and the remainder of games in the series. .

Great win boys! Listened to the Red Wings Mickey Redmond as color analyst in the 3rd period and he played the same roll with the Firebirds broadcast intetjecting comments on certain plays. However, he seemed to know the Spitfires roster a little better than ours which is understandable with him having lived across the Windsor border for 35 plus years.

Rewatched it when I got home, wanted to hear Mick with Jack and thought they did a great job. Jack knew his role, let the legend ramble on at times. Really need to get Jack a partner up there.
