Flint the better team tonight no excuses! Firebirds played well!!
Playing with fire? More like toying with a nuclear reactor. Yes, Cavallin was huge. Again. Firebirds just getting sticks in lanes, blocking shots and admittedly getting a couple bounces too. Then finishing better on their chances this game.Playing with fire seemingly working? Down 3, 3, 2 to start the last 3 games and grab 2 Ws. Not the watmy ya draw it up.
B.O. steps up, leads the charge back.
Was Cavilin the difference? Again didn't see the game just scoreboard n last 5 min on radio.
They said Kressler went for some medical attention, hopefully he's back with a full cage Tuesday. No Piercey. No Pitre. Kressler goes down. Tag goes down. Just better depth than Windsor. They have to turn to the Johnston/Cuylle line every other shift. Othmann produced some offense tonight. Looked better but jeez, he still had a couple huge turnovers. 16yo Ethan Hay star of the game tonight in my book. Played a ton and almost all of it heads up vs the best forward in the O. No disrespect to Mason McTavish but Wyatt Johnston is the most dangerous kid in the league in my book. It’s gonna be really tough to finish these guys off if they’re missing all those bodies. Glad to see Bertucci return though.

Watching the sights and sounds from game 5 clip on the OHL website, Tag at least appears to be in good spirits at the end of the video. He’s sitting with the doc fist bumping and chatting with the boys as they come off the ice. As critical as I was of Tag early in the season, he’s completely turned it around and has been huge for this team down the stretch and through the playoffs. Having him and Kressler dressed and semi-healthy would be huge. Heard Ted Dent came through the lobby limping REALLY bad. So he might not be 100% tonight either. Hope he can tough it out after being robbed of Coach of the Year.
Heard that about Keppen too. For sure it was Keppen and wrapped heavily. This from an athlete you know who missed 2 1/2 months with an ankle last season. Said Tag seemed to be ok. Don’t know why I’m just now being told this.Dent was limping?
Saw some stuff saying Tag walked through the lobby without a limp, his ankle was wrapped tho.
Yea Dents been hobbling since at least early in the SOO series. Saw him at the arena when I stopped in to pickup my tickets.Watching the sights and sounds from game 5 clip on the OHL website, Tag at least appears to be in good spirits at the end of the video. Must have rolled an ankle yelling over the center glass at the Owen Sound bench and the coach that refused to shake his hand.Yea Dents been hobbling since at least early in the SOO series. Saw him at the arena when I stopped in to pickup my tickets.
Not sure about packed, but decent hopefully loud crowd.Hope Flint can finish up the series tonight at home in front of a packed house. I know Saginaw and Flint are rivals, but cant root against a Michigan team vs Windsor.
