It was a fabulous night. She got to let everyone know she was in Toronto!!! I can’t wait until she posts pics. She’s so cool. I’ve never....oh wait. I’ve been to multiple Leafs games.
Yes, but how many games have you been to in Toledo?

You said Flint was only in position because of Saginaw and Erie games. WHICH YOU WERE CLEARLY EXTREMELY WRONG ABOUT.

Windsor has been the class of the West, don’t think anyone here is overly confident like the Soo thread was.

But yet again, you were wrong. But thats Par for the course for you here.
Windsor is NO Saginaw or Erie, Windsor did not play Saginaw and Erie 27 times. Flints 1-5-1-1 record against the Spits is why Windsor finished first and not Flint. Throw everything out come Thursday, when both teams are 0-0.

Yes, but how many games have you been to in Toledo? lol

You also need to remind everyone including Toldyaso how Flint faired against Windsor. If it wasn't for Windsor the Firebirds very well would have had the 1st seed, Who do you think is favored? Flint or Windsor?
So you’re taking Windsor then? In 4,5,6 or 7? You’re not just gonna leave an open ended ambiguously negative comment with no prediction are you?

Yeah, full of you know what. Let me remind you...one gone, one more to go.
.....which we would ALL cheer with you, but I’m not gonna be bitter and negative while the boys are getting results like this. None of us LIKE giving Rolf $ but he doesn’t notice it. It’s like one of us finding a quarter. The prospective “next” owner might notice you not supporting though and ship the team to.......Niagara would be my guess if their new owners move them to Branford.

You didn't answer my question? Who do you favor? If Cavallin continues his .934 SV% and 2.40 GAA performance I favor Flint in 6. If Cavallin falters and/or is unable to play then Windsor in 6. Cavallin is the key for Flint to advance. The series will go 6 games.

Fair enough. Windsor is clearly FAVORED but that really means nothing. Solid predictions, Flint is also built to sustain any injuries a little better. 55 goes down and Windsor is done. Flint can “survive” a game or two without Othmann.

Oh, and I’ll be taking Flint in 6 but seriously? I won’t be shocked if it’s a Game 7 OT or either team pulls off a sweep. The only thing right now that will surprise me is Hamilton losing in less than 7.

A couple of interesting scenarios exist. A Flint-Hamilton series would bring up the connection that the two cities have had since 1958 with the CANUSA games. A Flint-North Bay series would bring Ryan Oulahen back to Flint.

You say Windsor is done if Johnston gets hurt.
One could easily Flint is done if Cavillan goes down, obviously hoping for neither scenario.

....and a Flint/Hamilton series would have the Hayes brothers going head to head. Flint’s record in sibling games so far this year is outstanding.

Yes, I CAN do better than that. Take a look at the full picture, Flint finished 9th overall in attendance (2,464) and 3rd in the standings in the OHL's Western conference even with the Canadian teams forced to play in empty arenas due to the COVID rules in Canada. Flint finished ahead of only Owen Sound who averaged 2,037. Even with the success that the Firebirds are having during these playoffs they were averaging 2,486 before last nights game, an increase of only 22 over the regular season. Do you know what Flint averaged during the only other season that they have made the playoffs? 2,951 and once again finishing 9th in attendance in the OHL Western conference once again only behind Owen Sound's 2,898 average. In the two playoff games that year that Flint hosted they averaged 2,834. The Firebirds are in the midst of their most successful season and you yourself have said that it was "inexcusable/disappointing" in regards to the lack of "fannies" in the seats at the Dort. There were numerous nights this season in which Flint had promotions offering FREE tickets and they still were unable to fill the Dort.

Worked in Flint years ago, so I have a soft spot for the city, and hope the Firebirds can advance to the finals. Having said that, I watched a few Windsor/Flint games this season and Windsor dominated those games. I'm thinking Windsor fans like this matchup. On the other hand, Cavallin has the ability to steal games judging by his playoff performance to date. And, Flint can certainly score. Should be an entertaining series.

Attack fan here.Congrats on a pretty solid series win over Soo. Wow I don't make predictions but all I will say is I'm looking forward to watching that series. I think I read here they controlled the season series but right now that means SQUAT. Both teams have solid offence and defence but IMHO Flint has the advantage between the pipes.

Yes, spot on nelli27......Cavallin has the ability to steal games and has during these playoffs. Just ask the Greyhounds. It will be an entertaining series with Windsor..

For the record, Flint was 1-3 vs OS during the regular season and 2-3 vs the Soo. Also, it took our neighbors, the Saginaw Spirit 17 years to advance to their one and only Western Conference Final. Considering pre-season expections, where I only remember a few of us and dirty12 picking Flint anywhere out of last or second to last, this season has been an overwhelming success on the ice no matter what happens next.

Amen!

Thought we were probably a 5 as the ceiling for this team, reliant on the OA's to produce, and Cavallin being good, Cavallin was great.

The biggest move for this squad this year was releasing Gretz and adding Keppen. The team really hit another gear after that, 3 lines that could produce and playing 7 dmen quality minutes.

Speaking from experience, playoff predictions mean nothing.
Flint fans should grab this by the horns and ride it to the end.
You can't realize how special it is until you look back after it's over.

Hopefully that means a run to the Memorial Cup for you .

Enjoy every minute.
Good luck, Firebirds faithful.

Attack fan .

I believe Hamilton only counts the lower bowl for attendance percentage I believe it just over 9,300 in the lower bowl.
