Goalie was bad, team didn't play adequately. It was an all around shit show.

Holy f***, they were doing SO GOOD after two periods.

I still can't believe it.

They can't pull Markstrom at 3-3. The team needed this game to understand a few things - Keefe has to understand that they can't play like this in third periods with the lead and expect to win those games in regulation, and that Markstrom simply cannot be started right now. He can only be played in the remaining back to backs they have.

It's almost like they're trying to rationalize the first round pick and not letting him sit and giving him this much rope.

I don't give a f*** how many easy shots he saved in the first two periods. I don't give a f*** what team he played for. I don't give a f*** what Keefe says, I don't give a f*** what Dave Rogalski has to say and I don't give a single shit what f***in Fitz says.

Because guess what? The second to last guy I mentioned hasn't shown he KNOWS HOW TO DO A GOD DAMN THING AT HIS JOB! And the last guy I mentioned? He's shown that he's AVERAGE AT BEST!

I think that they team could've understood those two teams even if they pulled Markstrom at 3-3.
 
I mean, I get it. You traded for him to be your starter. He was playing really well before the injury. You want him to get back to that level. But at some point you need to admit he's nowhere close right now and you can't be pissing away points waiting for him to get there.

If I'm him I'm going downstairs and telling Keefe Markstrom WON'T play and if he has any shit to say I'm gonna throw the f*** down with him.

The players are absolutely an issue. And I am for making a big move to break up an unsuccessful and underwhelming core that can't stay healthy or get its shit together.

Keefe PLAYED Markstrom, he made the decision to start him tonight. He announced it yesterday.

Keefe is not without blame, unless you can convince me someone higher up than him is meddling and telling him that he CAN'T sit Markstrom for more than one game like he needs to.

Sure, I wouldn't argue against that but if Markstrom can't play well versus his former team that shipped him off and they're in a playoff spot which he was adamant on his reasoning on leaving Calgary for last year then how do you expect him to play any other game? Not to mention, he got shellacked and looked awful v a horrible Pens team. If there was one game that Markstrom has to be up for all year, it's this one
