Dude, my son got a puck from Dzingel at the Alfredsson retirement game. He was one of his favourite players. He was upset today.

I explained to him this is a rebuild and only the weak give up hope.

I also gave him full notice early in the season that this is a long process. I used the leafs as an example. They sucked for years and now they are a contender.

Ottawa will be crap for the three years as planned.

Most will get over it, and get behind the rebuild.

My son seems to have.

What about their confidence in ownership to actually build a winner instead of an always crap to average team in perpetual rebuild?

Good Lord White moved to the wing

I think that lineup is intended to allow the icetime to be better distributed to the rooks... White can probably play RW better than the others. Now when Boucher gets the blender going and his natural instincts start to take over when they go down a couple goals this will all change to promoting Smith, Tierney, ... you know the NHLers (according to Guy) ..

The options are pretty slim.

Is it better to have 2 ahl callup kids playing wing out of position? Idk....but we're clearly in unchartered waters here.

I agree options are slim but aren't we supposed to be developing our young guys? Pageau and Tierney have played wing before. Put them there

When the "steaks" are high, you want to ice a lineup with teeth, right?
