Flames next 1st rounder, the 2023 1st round pick, is owned by the Flames. As a owner of your next first rounder, yes please
it's the 2024 Flames pick that has so many conditions that I'm not gonna even try to understand.

I know, but with a full rebuild, you will sck next year tooFlames next 1st rounder, the 2023 1st round pick, is owned by the Flames.

Maybe. I just replied what you wrote, and it was about the next Flames 1st rounder.I know, but with a full rebuild, you will sck next year too
We need new coach and GM, and we need to fire Markstrom into the sun, and bring up Dustin Wolf.
Hopefully our GM (not sure if it will be Tre or someone else) doesn't go out and sign a bunch of 13th forward vets though. We have some NHL ready prospects that really should be getting full time jobs next year. Pelletier has looked good so far an will only keep improving, Coronato is probably signing after the Frozen Four tournament, Zary has looked great in the AHL, Wolf should probably be called up next year, Ruzicka should get a full time position, Deuhr has looked solid in his recent call up.I'd run it back next year and hope that Markstrom pulls himself together. They utterly worked Boston the other night, they can't be that bad.
Are they really that talented? We have arguably one first liner on the team.
Can't expect a goalie to play better than he did last night. That was a great save on Nylander breakaway. We need new coach and GM, and we need to fire Markstrom into the sun, and bring up Dustin Wolf.
I definitely expect Pelletier and Duehr are full time NHLers next season. I believe Coronato will be as well. Honestly it's probably a quiet summer.Hopefully our GM (not sure if it will be Tre or someone else) doesn't go out and sign a bunch of 13th forward vets though. It was very typical of our year for our goalie to finally show up when we were going to lose anywayCan't expect a goalie to play better than he did last night. That was a great save on Nylander breakaway.
You can only get that pick if it's between 20 and 32, then the 2025 picks are partially top 10 protectedI know, but with a full rebuild, you will sck next year too
Markstrom's GAA is 2.94 and SV% .889. Last night has been an aberration this year. Can't expect a goalie to play better than he did last night. That was a great save on Nylander breakaway
We will have to move cap out though. Honestly I think Vladar gets moved. Teams are always looking for young goalies and he's on a pretty nice contractI definitely expect Pelletier and Duehr are full time NHLers next season. I believe Coronato will be as well. Honestly it's probably a quiet summer.
Not giving up on mediocre rosters when it is clear it is not working out is the Flames blueprint lolThey cannot give up on this yet, would be ludicrous after money and term given out last summer.
There is worse ownership, like North of us.The Flames need new ownership, this is the biggest issue.

Katz is willing to spend every dollar of his money. He just doesn't always trust the right people. There is worse ownership, like North of us.
I mean Katz isn't exactly the best owner but he was able to get an arena built, hasn't pinched pennies or put any financial limitations on the team and allowed the GMs to do their job and even rebuild when it made sense. Wouldn't consider trading our owner for Calgary's.There is worse ownership, like North of us.
