He is worth 10 million easily. Not to mention there are multiple players making 10 or more who have never had 100 points. Never mind consistently.
On top of that his overall game also justifies 10 mill. There’s multiple ways to justify 10 mill than just points

He also just won a Selke trophy. So many other factors to consider than just point totals...position, age, UFA status next summer, wearing the C, term of contract, the fact the he was underpaid for at least the last 2-3 years. He's also almost a point per game in 16 playoff games. At absolute worst, it's a fair deal for both sides, not sure how anyone could argue otherwise.

Very good player and a good deal. Barkov is not quite a top-5 Centre(he's maybe 7th or 8th) so 10M is an appropriate dollar amount for him. And it's good for Florida, having him locked up for 8 years.
