I honestly just hammer things like beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, oats, whole grains and it’s cheap as ****.

Tofu isnt cheap round these parts. 6 dollars for 500 grams is expensive.

I dont agree with beans, I dont know why but anytime I even just touch one I end up on the toiket for six hours. Same with lentils.

Its as if im an evolutive carnivore:sarcasm:

Got good websites for recipes ? Not necessarily vegan, but vegetarian. If you have Indian stuff to recommend, even better. Trying to eat more veggies and less meat.

Dont care about if its high protein or not. I just want it to be tasty.

I’m honestly the worst cook ever and eat like a complete bachelor when I have to feed myself, but I’ll look into it for ya.

My go to when I have to cook for myself is just a stir fry with some peanut butter for sauce, tofu, and frozen mixed veggies lol

I have indian colleagues tell me that their moms watch this guy on t.v. That's how I got my curry game up to par.

Looking to build my own home gym with good, reliable equipment that is somewhat affordable. What I need is a squat rack that can take me to about 400lbs, a flat bench and obviously the weights/bar. I also want to add a decent treadmill. I don't need the absolute best equipment, but I don't need to go extremely cheap either.

To get a more than adequate setup any ideas on how much this will run me. Between the Mrs and I, I am currently paying roughly 50$ a month on a gym memberships(work pays the rest), and I'd rather build my own gym. I have a basement with plenty of room for a home gym. Any recommendations for a decent setup without paying ridiculous amounts. I'd even be open to second hand equipment.

I bought my elliptical off of revalue fitness and it's been working great. It was used.

I don't know if they deliver to Canada.

Any opinions on pre-fatigue from a hypertrophy standpoint. Been integrating it on Squat for the past few weeks and man is the feeling completely different on Squats after pre-fatiguing peripheral muscles.

A1) Good Mornings 3 x 10-12 @ 135 lbs
A2) Laying Leg Curls 3 x 10 (2 sec. pause at the top)
B) Adductor (lol) machine 3 x 15 (2 sec. pause both in and out)
C) Leg Extension 3 x 15 (2 sec. pause at the top)
D) Back Squats 3/4 x 8 @ 235 lbs (the goal is pace. As little rest as possible between reps, do it to keep the tension on the muscles as much as possible)
E) Walking Lunges 3 x 12
F1) Standing Calf Raises 3 x 10 (2 sec. pause both at the top and at the bottom)
F2) Seated Calf Raises 3 x 15 (quickly done with a very light weight just to pump it out)

At 10:30 yesterday night my quads we still pumped.

Never did that, would never advise someone to do heavy squats after all this work. Seems like overkill to me.

Good way to injure yourself. Also, squats are the best muscle builder, you want to maximize their effectiveness.

Its been a while since Ive had any chickpeas, I should try.

How do you prepare chickpeas?

I like adding olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin as a base, and sometimes something spicy like chili flakes or cayenne.

I just made a basic chick pea salad with some cucumbers, peppers, scallions, feta cheese and a balsalmic vinaigrette. It was a hit.

I also just found this recipe when looking for a yogurt-spinach pasta sauce.

Recipe: One-Pot Tomato Chickpeas and Orzo

The perfect meal would have at least 60 grams of protein in it but its good for sure.

 Perfect for me then. I don't count calories or protein intake. I do like to eat it Middle East style, with a lot of parsley. Usually no lettuce, but also with tomatoes, cucumbers and one of sour pickles, olives or capers. Something spicy too. Fresh chile or harissa typically.
