Why Heinola and Hatakka playing so much? I think they play every other shift. Don't think Rafkin has even been on the ice after the first 10 minutes.

Ugh I dont I dont even want to think what penalties we are gonna take against canada.
 
Swiss powerplays from previous years would be able to make them pay. Just not enough talent this time

Well. Our 2nd best winger played less than 9mins on the 4th line vs the Slovaks. Our 3rd best winger played 12mins or so. Our top defender played 16mins. And they reduced the minutes of all top forwards except Knak for the 3rd period:laugh:
Either they want to humiliate the opponents or they're just dumb. Judging by their coaching history, it's the latter:facepalm:

Well 3/4 of the team are really bad players don't expect much.

Edit: This could arguably be our weakest team by a long mile the last 10 years.

They’re a lot like Canadians in many respects. Finns are tough, resilient, and proud people a lot like we are. They’re a major hockey power and should never be underestimated at any level.

They’ve got their own Finnish “sisu” built into their culture which is similar to our heart and soul type of hockey we love. If we have a fighting breath within us, it’s never over.

I think whoever gets them in the Quarters (assuming we win — which is never an assumption we should make with the Finns) from the other side likely the Americans or Swedes should be very nervous playing them. I anticipate them “upsetting” one of those teams.

I think if we are sleeping on anyone as fans here it might be Sweden. They might be slipping under everyones radar because of their particular circumstances but it's still Sweden.

I think that might benefit them, everyone seems to have their souls set on Canada,Russia and the U.S.

Well, you can't say the Swiss aren't still in it.

We won't have to worry about any running up of the scores today since that seems to be such an abomination to the sensitive kind.

Both PP's and 5vs5 atrocious. Mostly fabricated by Fischer and co. How we're only behind by one is honestly beyond me:laugh:
