It would be worth the time watching him if he was actually good. For people who watch him play, it is not.

He's injured so he's not doing anything. How's Slaf doing?
Yeah, no shit. He's injured so he's not doing anything.
Mesar is a good prospect but he only has 1 point in 4 games in the OHL. What's up with that?Yeah, no shit.
Mesar is helping his team win games and apparently he's a beast.
He's too good for the Ohl. By his logic Gally is too good for the NHL that's why he's not producing.Mesar is a good prospect but he only has 1 point in 4 games in the OHL. What's up with that?

wasnt he suppose to dominate the juniors ? 1 point in 4 games is bad specially since hes suppose to be an offensive playerYeah, no shit.

1 point in 4 playoff games, he's a beast a la Joel Armia.Yeah, no shit.

I see Mesar ceiling as an RHP type. Problem is you can pick these guys up in the later rounds. Small guys have to be dynamite on the score sheet if they are to make NHL impact, in order to compensate for their shortcomings.I don't see the NHL potential in him. Perhaps an extra forward/4th liner but I just don't see it , I feel like he can't generate the plays he wants and look out of touch . We'll see I guess
the rest of the league caught up.wasnt he suppose to dominate the juniors ? 1 point in 4 games is bad specially since hes suppose to be an offensive player

I hope so, but you have to admit what is going on here in this thread is pretty amusing. Honestly he gives me that Oleg Petrov vib, does everything well but it doesn't transfer to points.Mesar has elite skating and hands, his playmaking skills are very good and he has improved his shot.
The results haven't been there this year as far as consistency but I think a lot of people are going to eat crow next year.
I hope so. But if management is going to take gambles on small players, they have to be elite on scoresheet in every league they play. Especially juniors.Mesar has elite skating and hands, his playmaking skills are very good and he has improved his shot.

I could have watched that line cycle the puck all day thoughI hope so, but you have to admit what is going on here in this thread is pretty amusing. Honestly he gives me that Oleg Petrov vib, does everything well but it doesn't transfer to points.
And we will see what happens next season.. not everyone transitions from Europe to NA as a teenager seamlessly.

He needs to improve his shooting skills and instead of doing a lot of fancy pass he needs to shoot more often to catch the goalie off guard. He can skate really fast but that's about it.
No. Management has to believe they have scoring line potential factoring in their situation (ie idiot coach, bad team etc).I hope so. But if management is going to take gambles on small players, they have to be elite on scoresheet in every league they play. Especially juniors.
