If the kings are in the playoff hunt I could see him coming over to play with his friend arvidson Thinking a first and Madden /Thomas/ Jad type of prospect

If Blake is making any deals for a rental this year he would be foolish. Way to soon for these type of deals.

I put the proposal of J. Barron+Kaut+Conditional second up, is that close to what you want?
I'm not really big on Kaut and Barron is a great prospect but defense is and always has been a strength of the team. If we're trading our best forward, extended, I want at least a 1st and a higher ceiling forward prospect.

Moving with an extension is just pie-in-the-sky dreaming at this point. If he doesn't want to extend in Nashville, then I'm sure he'll just want to explore his options. Treat him as a rental, and bid accordingly on that basis, I'd say.

Carolina needs a shoot first winger.

But not sure what they would reasonably offer that nsh would accept.

Would Carolina be interested in a cheaper option of Athansiou?
He is exactly what ur asking for in a shot first winger/

If the leafs could find a way to re sign him I'd offer 2022 1st, 2022 2nd and Nick robertson.

If Calgary could work out an extension, I would give up quite a bit.
I know a lot of Flames fans don't think it's a good idea due to his age/term and how his new contract will age. Also we need to extend Tkachuk, Mangi, Johnny.

I think all is doable if the Flames are able to move Monahan in the offseason.

As for value, 1st 2022 + 2nd 2022 + Jeremy Poirier.

We are 5 deep on locked up or young d-men on the blue line, with another 3 waiting for their shot in Milwaukee. If we trade Forsberg we are NOT doing it for a defensive prospect, it needs to be a high-level forward prospect.

Oil would be all over this. We’d need a 3rd team involved to make the cap work (Zona seems to like those types of deals).

To NSH: 2022 1st, Yamamoto, cond 2023 pick (2nd that becomes a 1st if we re-sign Forsberg)

To ARI: Turris, Samorukov, 2022 4th

To EDM: Forsberg (75% retained)

More teams will be in on him than those that won’t be in .
I’m sure the price will be decent as a bidding war should start if the playoff race is crazy close.
I hope that if he does get traded at the deadline that he goes to UFA and my Devils throw him an offer. We need a scoring winger very badly.

Don't think Poile would want Yamamato. We've moved out all of our smaller forwards ( or tried ) now that Grimaldi has been waived. Hynes doesn't seem to want to play them.

I agree. I don't dislike the player, but when I suggested Noel earlier it was with the idea of what Hynes seems to be building and Poile seems to be supporting.

I love Kempe, which probably puts me at odds with a lot of Kings fans for some reason, but why would the Preds trade a better player that's only 2 years older if he's all we're getting in return?
