I love good looking woman.....I’m sorry......I think..........:)

I understand that the Croatian women's moustaches typically mature before the men's. Is there any truth to that?

Just kidding my friend. They are beauties!

FIFA can't do much because they have zero credibility. They're a more corrupt organization than the IOC and that's saying a lot. They are all about the money. They couldn't care less about the integrity of the sport. In fact, the word "integrity" should never be mentioned in the same breath as "FIFA" unless preceded by the words "complete absence of".

Well, corruption or no corruption, it doesn't affect them one way or the other if they clamp down on that stuff.

FIFA is typically very slow to make changes. It's probably due to complacency from being the biggest sport in the world.

But, with video review now in play, I think it's a matter of time that they address the really obvious stuff. The reason I feel that it will take a long time though is because I don't feel as though the rest of the world has a big appetite to cut down on the silly stuff.

The fans need to demand it, or else why will fifa feel compelled to do anything about it?

Anyone Croats here? Anyone know why Croatian tend to have Italian first name?

Luka Modric
Mario Mandzukic
Matteo Kovacic
Dario Simic
Nico Kranjkar

Are the languages similar or something?

That comes from Tito's time at the power of Yugoslavia, they smuggled jeans from Italy who has a border with Croatia.

Actually that is not true, but there is an Italian minority that live in north western Croatia so maybe that is the reason and also that many Croatian players play in Seria A. To be quite honest I have no idea but that is all I can think of.

A champion is crowned by the final score , not by a popularity fan and public opinion.

Do you remember Maradona time, Argentina final vs Germany . Do you remember who dominated or who won ?

I don’t disagree but you said France got “destroyed” by Portugal. Getting dominated and winning in extra time by one goal is hardly destroying someone.

Since we are all big football fans here... :sarcasm:

What changes woud you make to improve the game?
Mine are -
- 5 subs per match
- substitutions have to be made on the fly - game doesn't stop, a sub steps on the field after another player comes off
- yellow cards are given after post match video review if some calls were missed (esp. for diving if obvious)

What about Cheeto Benito?

Not bad either. I'd love to see some satirical photo montage with Trump as Mussolini. Putin will run rings around him in their meeting and Trump will say something like: "I asked him if they tried to influence the election and he said no". What he should say is: "I trust that man and they have pics of me with Russian prostitutes."

You are correct , the word destroyed was wrongly used, but i used it to highlight how inferior portugal looked vs france before that game. And thus how much portugal overcame in visual gap in that tournament .

I agree, Portugal did a Greece in the Euros, bored all teams to death by playing defensively to the nth degree.

Croatia has a very beautiful national park that is a UNESCO World Heritage designation that I have always wanted to visit, it's called Plitvice and it's a series of lakes and waterfalls. Pictures that I've seen looks wonderful. I'm too old for the beautiful ladies so nowadays it's the beauty of nature.

Whatever it takes to get rid of the embellishment. Yesterday was nice. Neither team really dove or wasted time. I guess you can argue Mandzukic did but his knee got crushed and he plays for Juventus with the Italians so... Either way, I despise when the flow of the game is destroyed after a team gets a 1 goal lead.

Embellishment is the big one obviously. But I also hate the unsportsmanlike time wasting at the end of games (dicking around before free kicks / throw-ins, faking injuries, taking forever during subs). Do it the right way by controlling the play

Sure some of that time will be added at the end of the game but it's never 1 for 1. And I know that sometimes the refs give yellow cards when the players are being too obvious, but man, just can't stand it

Why not both? We're never too old for beautiful women, of any age, within reason of course. ;)

What if, you have a limited amount of time as the leading team in the second half? So if you start dicking around, you lose your throw in and the other team gets it. Won't happen nearly as often if you're giving up possession of the ball.

You're never too old for the beautiful ladies. Also, there are plenty of older beautiful women.

Plitvice, huh? Sounds like something else if you replace the "P".
