Well. I love getting Fiala and I am fine with losing the 1st. Losing Faber stings a little. I think he is going to be great in Minny... Just have to see how this pans out. It is a meh contract that is heavily weighted on his last season. If he can keep up that production, it is great, but if he is a 20g 50p guy....

I hate the draft but currently rooting for McGroarty or Bichsel.

I'm rooting for #1, JAD and Faber to Minnesota for Fiala and Wallstedt! But won't happen.

This is risky as f***.

In shortened seasons.

This guy is young and has been more productive every season. He isn't trending down like some 30 year old.

That being said, on the Kings, I don't expect higher numbers but he is a welcomed addition.

Either through trade or free agency, this was happening regardless. The direction was determined last offseason

Look across the league. All the good teams have three scoring lines. It's up to our coach to adapt and evolve. This whole thought process that you need to have two scoring lines, one checking line and one energy line is completely outdated now. You will get chased off the ice with that philosophy.

I think this almost guarantees that JAD and Vilardi will not make the team or are not part of the future of this team and will be traded before the draft to make up for the loss of picks.
