He'll be sent back after 5. Teams take these entry level contract years very seriously and protect them at all costs. Will cost the Canes a few million bucks in 3 years if they burn one.

Yes. Worst-case scenario is Murphy is sent back to Kitchener and Jordan is called up because Gleason, Pitkanen, and McBain are all still hurt. But I think we'll see Gleason after Murphy's 5th game at the latest.

Jordan, or someone else. not like Jordan was impressing towards the end of his callup. but yeah, they wont burn a year. of course, they COULD always keep him up, give him the spot on the team, use one of the others he would essentially replace in a trade (i.e......McBain? lol) personally, from what Ive seen so far, he is doing well.

Well, we'd only be able to use a game or two in all likelihood of Murphy before we'd be forced to send him back to Kitchener if Gleason/Pitkanen/McBain were all still injured past Murphy's sixth game.

And then it would be a total waste of a year of his ELC, and cost the team more money sooner rather than later.
