The biggest problem is this show has done nothing different than the original. The first few seasons of Walking Dead were great, but we really don't need to see it again. And given FTWD is making a lot of the same mistakes as current TWD (moving the plot forward with stupid and unrealistic decisions by characters), it's hard to like it. Strand is the only consistently great character. Alicia is ok. Nick is hit and miss. Travis has his moments but that goes both ways. Madison is quite possibly the worst character the franchise has had.
I can't understand why they didn't go a different route. It should have looked at the military and governments response to the apocalypse. At the very least, abandoning the boat so fast was awful. Strand abandoning the oraganized crime persona for a mourning lover was not a great decision either.
I'll watch at least part of this season. It takes me a lot to abandon a show but I quit Suits which I was far more invested in so I can quit this.
And tonight they seem to be doing another Terminus style storyline. Except these guys don't appear to be cannibals.
One of these military guys looks very familiar.
How do you kill a character after he just became cool... In a cold open no less.

Season 2 was so bad. I'm officially done with the show. Walking dead is really becoming a pain in the ass to watch too...hopefully they end it after the next season.
Not a chance Travis is actually dead. Salazar is going to save him. Guaranteed. He was likely responsible for the shooting of the helicopter, or knew the people who did.
This show is way too predictable. The young guy saying something along the lines of "There's no way he could have survived a fall like that" just gave it away.
He was shot in the neck and stomach, and fell from a height no one can reasonably survive.
You just watch. If you don't see a body, it's very likely they didn't actually kill the character off. It's typical in these shows.
Until I see a body, I don't believe he's dead. I hope he is, but he's not.
I looked it up, and apparently Kim Dickens, the actress that plays Madison was asked whether he was confirmed dead or not, and she played dumb, so....
He's dead. They played the in memoriam video for him on Talking Dead.
I think they did the same for Glenn when he fell off the dumpster.
This will be so much worse if Travis is alive though.
They didn't have an in memoriam for him when he fell off the dumpster.
You sure? I thought they did.
