Favorite past jersey and players you think of wearing it

I’m embarrassed this hasn’t been posted yet

I liked a lot about the design of these sweaters, but there was one big miss that kind of sunk them for me: The logo being black.

Flames can be red, orange, yellow, or even "white hot" but calling yourself the Flames and then having a flaming C logo that is black is just odd.

It's kind of like the original San Jose Sharks logo... What on earth made them decide to make their shark ... black? Had they ever seen a shark before?

Loved Andy Moog growing up, especially his Bruins and Stars look. I used a white Christian goalie stick as a kid because of him. I still have it in my garage.

Does your Christian stick have a "Curtis Curve?"

I loved the late Whalers jerseys. The guys that I most associate with that team are Verbeek, Sanderson and Cassels.

I have both of these jerseys. Granted the blue one I got for my birthday when I was 10 so it doesn’t fit any more but I’m just going to frame it one of these days. I could probably fill a small office with all of my Whalers stuff from back in the day.

Sadly no. Hockey equipment in Oklahoma in the 90’s was limited.
