Wanted to put Selanne wearing it since he's my all time favorite player but he spent half of his seasons in Anaheim wearing the rebranded kit. Paul spent his whole Anaheim career wearing this one.

I always loved the blue version of these, It sucked they stopped wearing them for a stupid black jersey but kept the whites.These Washington Capitals jerseys were awesome and although the team was never my favorite, I was a fan of Peter Bondra and Olaf Kolzig as players.
What is your favorite past jersey and the players you think of wearing it?
I much prefer these over our "current" ones, Its time to leave the 80s in the 80s. Navy, Copper and red was such a unique and good looking combo. Updated version of these would look great.
To be clear, I prefer the current Oilers uniforms, but this was a nice departure for a while which defined a different era in team history. I'll always remember it and many of players who wore it fondly - guys like Weight, Joseph, Grier, Smith, and Roloson
as far as im concerned when it comes to jerseys black is an accent colour, not a main colour.I’m with you. The Blue Eagle jersey was wicked. It sucked how many teams decided to go dark and edgy for the late 90s and early 2000s.
In 2001-2002 9 out of 30 teams had black jerseys as their main "coloured" uniform and another teams had black alts. A further 7 teams were dark blue. Over half the league was either dark blue or black.
By far the best Caps jerseys.
