Favorite past jersey and players you think of wearing it

Was a big fan of the OG Bruins WC jersey, and picture Sturm in it not only because of his GWG but also because he was the reason I started following the Bruins in the first place (being a fellow countryman)

Plenty of people disliked the logo on it but I was disappointed they never made it the 3rd jersey even for a while- they did it later with at least one other outdoor game jersey iirc and to me this one was the best of the bunch. Getting that yellow and brown in as an alternate would've been nice, especially since the actual Bruins 3rd jersey during those years were pretty bland and didn't offer much alternating at all.

To be clear, I prefer the current Oilers uniforms, but this was a nice departure for a while which defined a different era in team history. I'll always remember it and many of players who wore it fondly - guys like Weight, Joseph, Grier, Smith, and Roloson

These jersey were kinda cool until reebok came and added piping to it.

Those were good times. I cheered for the oilers back then as the team that punched well above their weight (pardon the pun).

In an era where alot of Canadian teams were down in the dumps and struggling financially, the oilers were at least finding a way to make the playoffs and compete against big payroll teams like the stars.

For the 90s penguins jerseys, I don't like the black one so much besides nostalgia but the white one was pretty good. I always thought of Kovalev for the black one and Straka for the white one. (sometimes Jagr for the white one but not as much as Straka).

This past Monday I saw someone wearing a Sakic Nordiques t-shirt in Amesbury, Massachusetts.

It's going to be an unpopular opinion, but I always loved these jerseys, and this player, especially combined.
