Favorite NYR Goal?

Hard to argue against series winners (I'd have said Matteau's) but I'll go for the least expected which was Boyle's shortie in the cup finals.

Matteau but was probably too young to appreciate it.
So many over the last 4-5 years but would have to say Stepan's winner game 7 overtime.

These two goals are another one of my favorites. Was at this game too, wasn't too far from the OT goal area. Great play by Kreider to give Stepan the puck

Shocked this wasn't the first response.

Close #2 for me would be Kovalev in the finals.

I came to post this, and every other goal he scored as a NYR.

My favorite player growing up (Richter and Bure we both close seconds)! If I had anything with a number on it, I had to have the 27.

Fair to say every goal from the 1994 playoffs?

The Esa Tikkanen OT vs FLA and the whole situation and Boogaard goals just bounced into mind...

Someone posted Cally's OT goal already against the Sabres. I'd say every goal after the Gaborik trade when we clobbered the Pens should all count as one. Here's another good one

Kovy was so fun to watch. I know some Ranger fans hated him but I tried to skate just like him. He looked like a artist on skates. Wish he could have been a Ranger for life.

Impossible to pick between Richards/Staal/Stepan/St. Louis for me.

As for regular season, definitely this

After being up 1-0 with 2 minutes left, we went down 2-1 after 2 quick goals, then Staal tied it with a minute left. Then the great OT call by Sam.

Honorable mention to this great goal by our short-lived "Big 3"

Pretty much everything that i would have chosen has already been mentioned in here so I'll add this one to the fray

Stralman decks Greene, Rangers go 3 on 1 the other way and score the goal that ends up chasing fatso en route to embarrassing the devils 7-3 on national television :handclap:

I think it's been mentioned but not linked yet. This goal is special for many reasons, but to me it perfectly encapsulates the euphoria of that night. You knew it was going to be a goal a second or two before it went in. The skill on display there was amazing. 1994 in a nutshell.

It's sad that people attributed his lack of numbers to laziness instead of recognizing how bad that knee injury was and whenever he'd be stuck with bum line mates.

Hell, Kevin Dineen stuck his about to be 40 yr old ass on the checking line in FLA~! A professional coach! Some folks just don't know.

There's a Gaborik goal against Florida that's almost an exercise in teleportation through the neutral zone that I love. I can never seem to find it on YouTube.

There have been way more important goals, but this one was unbelievably satisfying for me.
