I meme about it, but I genuinely would not be surprised if McDavid came to Toronto at the end of his contract. Edmonton is genuinely going nowhere.

I honestly think he asks for a trade before his contract expires (not necessarily to the leafs). Who could blame him at this point? McDavid should’ve signed the Matthews deal.

Weird, to my eyes, it seems like that article is ratcheting up the pressure on Holland and indirectly suggesting that he's accomplished nothing in Edmonton (which would be somewhat true).
