all SPONSORED by johnny bower,

We STUNK we were awful for the first period and a half

Some goalies or goalie , kept us in the game.../

study bower, study campbelll

Guys, we f***ing stunk for almost two periods...

lilly and bower kept us in it..

Then the most talented talent in the NHL, DECIDED, to flip his wrists..

Matthews is so much more talented than CON MAN connor, its not eve funny.

I would love to play against mcdavic, he is a flash in the pan.,... Matthews knows, he is ten times better than mcdavid and mc bore its all

Matthews is a bit cocky but he knows, he is the best hockey player in the nhl

and he barely even tried tonight he just showed that mcdavid is just a flashy, guy, ready to end up in the boards, half dead gnite

I'd rather have Matthews than McDavid right now.

For all his offense, McDavid gives 0 shits in his own end of the ice.

obviously McDavid is unmatched with the puck. without it...well, that controller disconnect on Nylander was embarrassing. A great player him like needs to try harder than that on defence.

Just watched the replay. Honestly even if Drai scored that open net in the first, I don’t think the Oilers could beat the Leafs.

The run that Willie did with McD chasing him was awesome, it showed Willie could be in the elite company all he needs to do is do that consistently.

AM and his wrist is back.

Good to see the D getting some goals bc we need our D to score here and there.

A rested Soup is a great Soup.

Kase continues to impress and he is really positionally sound and does all the small thing perfectly.

so was his effort trying to "block that shot."

Dude either get tf out of the way or block it, nothing a goalie hates more than a half-assed attempt that does nothing more than screen the goalie or tip the puck.

Just pure all around dominace

Good mix of both primary scoring and depth scoring.

Matthews did score 2 and Rielly had 2 points but Kase had 2 assists, Simmonds had a goal, Brodie had a goal that I thought was tipped by Kerfoot.

It was nice to see the depth contribute on a night where Nylander and Tavares only had an assist each.

I heard Mikyehev's name twice all game

It's brutal that the Leafs are 5th in the NHL and 2 of the teams ahead of them are in their division and all 4 teams are in the East.

Followed by the Rangers in 6th.

Playoffs are going to be intense.

Love the energizer bunnies on the team. All of Kase, Bunting, Clifford, Simmonds, Kerfoot, Tavares (yes him), and Ritchie (yes him, too) bring their own brand of nuisance, and sometimes it gets even the more reserved guys going. We've been missing a F1 presence that isn't shy about plastering a defender into the boards whereas previously it was a fly-by or a stick tap. I kind of want to see more of our guys limiting time and space for other teams' breakout sequences as it maximizes our F2's ability to read and jump in on miscues. But all this overlooks our defense's ability to minimize defensive zone time/effort which allows cleaner changes and a competent forecheck instead of a stretch pass tip dump and change.

Clifford probably won't last too long once everyone gets healthy, if they get healthy

He knows his role and knows this is his last dice. Don't mind what he brings. Much better than Gabriel at that role. He can actually play

Leafs jumped to first overall in their division with a win, now have 42 points
