I wonder who decided the Prydwin should require you to zone in to the command deck and then to the quarters. It makes no sense game play wise or military ship wise.

I never played Fallout in my life until a few weeks ago when I got the Fallout Shelter app. That game is addictive. Then I ended up getting New Vegas. Eventually I will move on to 4.

I don't know why I didn't get into Fallout earlier. This whole SPECIAL system is awesome and caps :)

Anyone else find Automatron really hard? Left off at level 77 and these damn robots are destroying me. Almost instant kills. No time to stimpak or anything they just take me down in seconds.

I didn't. I've already beaten the missions for the DLC and am just mindlessly building bots now.

The only times I died were when I killed a robot and it went and blew up in my face in a spectacular explosion. Stupid self destructing robots.

I gotta say, having your own personal Sentrybot death machine to roam the wastes with is fantastic. Don't even have to fire a shot for a lot of encounters.

Yeah not sure why I'm getting massacred except possibly because I went full lone wanderer perks and stats so having a companion is negating everything

I'm getting destroyed too. Maybe it's because I haven't played in three months but I died six times during the initial encounter. Swarmbots were destroying me. Also have a nasty habit of getting one shot by something which I can never quite tell what. Usually it results in losing limbs but I still can't pinpoint the culprit.

Exactly my problem, I may as well have wrote this entire paragraph ha. I am getting one shotted in the first building repeatedly and I can't tell why or where it's coming from.

Well, I am giving the game another chance. I quit 2x before around lvl 15. This time I am just treating as the shooter it is and not the RPG it is not. I must say I am enjoying much, much more now that my expectations have changed. Only lvl 21 and took the castle and having fun with it though I still do not like the building settlements mini-game.

I beat the game a while ago, level 57.

I am thoroughly enjoying Automatron. I've been taking my time with it, which is unlike me with Fallout. Usually get hooked and binge play for a long time.

I've put in about 3 hrs so far so I imagine I'm nearing the end of the story portion but it's definitely good. The Tesla gun is wicked cool.

The robot customization is really cool, not sure how much I'll get out of it at this point considering my point in the game. Might come in handy in future DLC or another play through at some point!

Finally wrapped up the main story at, I think, level 45. Will not likely ever go back to play any DLC or anything. It was good once I got past the idea that it is not an RPG but rather an FPS with leveling (like Farcry). I did play it on the easiest setting though (because I was only able to play between 4am and 6am before the family wakes up) and it got pretty easy as I leveled, even as a gimp when it comes to shooting games.

I went stealthy small guns and rifles and did very little settlement building. That just seemed a waste of time to me and I sided with the BoS. Never used Power Armour except the first mission. Good game, but not great...7/10

Am I the only one who thought Settlement building was the only redeeming quality in this game?

I thought the story was terrible, the general mechanics were bland, and the entire experience paled in comparison to previous games.

Settlement building is the only reason I still go back. Janky as it is I do like building up areas and controlling many areas of the Commonwealth.

The only reason I'll probably end up touching the main story again is when I create a new character for survival mode, and see how much I like it.

Still eagerly anticipating Far Harbour though.

I loved the settlement building as well, but I also loved pretty much everything about the game (despite me guessing the "twist" like 5 minutes in)

Played a few hours of this at my girl's place a while back. A couple days ago I hot a random hankering to play again. Luckily Best Buy had it for 40 bucks new..

Definitely good fun and having gotten as far as the Cordova auto plant the first time made getting through things a lot easier this time. It's nice to have something that doesn't have to be played online.

I am always getting my inventory full though. Kind of a pain.
