Kind of reminds me of Savard. Great vision, active on skates, can control below the dots and on the sidewall. Smallish but makes plays.

I am doing a new Wednesday Mailbag on the blog and taking questions when @Gee Wally asked the following:
I will answer the question in advance because I am sure there are others thinking of the possibility.
I will simply refer you to the NHL/CHL agreement:

Would those restrictions apply to Lysell since he is an import and not previously in the CHL system?
one massive difference is this kid knows where his end of the ice is right now, took Savvy until he got under the wing of Claude to do soKind of reminds me of Savard. Great vision, active on skates, can control below the dots and on the sidewall. Smallish but makes plays.
Did the LA kings not do that w Brayden Schenn for a couple of games?
And now I feel older for first remembering that and then thinking it was only a couple years ago and it was clearly more than a couple years ago.
I want this kid to play nowhere except the WHL this year unless/until the time his Giants are bounced in the playoffs then have him join Providence, let him continue to develop and light it up, he`s in very good coaching hands with the Giants.Unlikely but possible we see him in January
It's been done a few times. But never for more than a game or two. The timing for it to happen has to be perfect. So unless the Bruins and Providence are ravaged by injury, why bother?
he`d use them, but incorrectly, Claude got hammered here for the same stuff Butch does but gets a free pass on from far too many IMOnot advocating one way or the other, old friend. Merely that is has happened.
The why, I think there could be some philosophical reasons to do such. However, plenty of guys in Prov that I would like to see at the moment myself. The bigger question is, if called up, would Bruce even use them? But that would be derailing this thread.
Assuming no injuries above what they have now, who are you waiving to call someone up? There's a 23 man roster limit.not advocating one way or the other, old friend. Merely that is has happened.

You’re being selfish and don’t want to share him with us.I want this kid to play nowhere except the WHL this year unless/until the time his Giants are bounced in the playoffs then have him join Providence, let him continue to develop and light it up, he`s in very good coaching hands with the Giants.
What the Flames, Bruins, and Wild can offer the Vancouver Canucks in return for J.T. Miller
Hang up if they ask for Lysell.

call him up.He is pretty slick! He does not waste time when he gets a chance.I am sure Bruins are happy with his progress.

Yea he is smart he knows where to goKind of reminds me of Point
Small but explosive talent
This is interesting. Maybe @Saxon Eric can shed some light for me? I guess what doesn't make sense to me is if you are not going for it and are selling off assets, why hold onto your best asset? Wouldn't that be managing your assets properly?
For JT Miller I’d agree but I don’t think he’s untouchable. Hertl or Chychrun I’d seriously consider it.
