Starting to definitely see that as I’ve paid more close attention to Amirov at WJC.
Don’t think anybody should have sniper/elite scorer expectations on him.
....probably an ideal 3rd C

Amirov could have had a hat trick just from this one shift.
He doesn't play C.......probably an ideal 3rd C
Nobody on Russia had a dominating tourney honestly. Not even Askarov played greatDisappointing tourney for him. Not sure if it was the Russian’s system or what but he was noticeable in a bad way..
I wasn’t expecting him to dominate but wanted him to make a statement.Nobody on Russia had a dominating tourney honestly. Not even Askarov played great

Really? I think he has been poor relative to expectations. I like his speed in transition but decision making is not good right now. Too many low danger shots, too many flubbed passes, not very creative.dude had 6 pts. thats twice as many as the previous #15 pick had last year. Amirov looked good. not many looked good vs canada. easily one of the top 2 forwards on russia
I am really excited to see this kid play with NHL calibre playmakers.
MarliesI'm interested to see what will be decided in terms of where he plays next year.
