Columbus is working hard to be in the race. Blows up a 2 goal lead in 7 minutes and masterfully avoid getting a point again. You’ll be okay.
So are the Ducks.Columbus is working hard to be in the race.
Don’t count Minny out either. So are the Ducks.
Or the Habs, Rangers, Devils, etc. All these teams that were given 1st OA shouldnt get another one in such a short time period. If he ends up with the Oilers or Blackhawks I'm going to vomit.
This kid would go #2 in last years draft. I'm already accepting the Hawks won't win back to back lotteries. I kind of hope San Jose gets him because they truly deserve a franchise player.
No way does he go ahead of Carlsson or Fantilli. This kid would go #2 in last years draft. I'm already accepting the Hawks won't win back to back lotteries. I kind of hope San Jose gets him because they truly deserve a franchise player.
Better prospect than both IMO. Celebrini is a more dynamic player with a high level of competeI see a lot of Lafreniere in his game, though I like Celebrini's intensity and pace much more.
No way does he go ahead of Carlsson or Fantilli.
You were insanely high on Cooley and seemed to hold him at least the equal of Fantilli, but now that Celebrini in his draft season is slaughtering Cooley’s D+1 performance with superior two-way play as the cherry on top, he’s a level below?I see a lot of Lafreniere in his game, though I like Celebrini's intensity and pace much more.

It's been 13 games lol @ slaughtering.but now that Celebrini in his draft season is slaughtering Cooley’s D+1 performance with superior two-way play as the cherry on top, he’s a level below?
It's his skating and athleticism. Fantilli was very clearly already an NHL player in college.I can't really describe WHY I think this, but sometimes when watching Macklin his game just feels less projectable than Fantilli did, even though he is doing essentially what Fantilli did in both the USHL and the NCAA while being much younger.
Goodletthehateflowthroughyou.gif etc.If he ends up with the Oilers or Blackhawks I'm going to vomit.
There's no way Celebrini is more dynamic than Fantill. It's not even close, c'mon.Better prospect than both IMO. Celebrini is a more dynamic player with a high level of compete
Hmm, I disagree with you on this and the Lafrenierre comparison quite strongly. I think Celebrini’s explosiveness in small space plays is remarkable, I could probably watch more Fantilli, but to say it’s not even close in Fantill’s favor would be a major stretch from what I have seen. There's no way Celebrini is more dynamic than Fantill. It's not even close, c'mon.
Nobody deserves it more than the Habs. One player has hit 70 pts in the last decade (with no one pacing for that mark yet again this season). And one PPG season in the last 25 years. This kid would go #2 in last years draft. I'm already accepting the Hawks won't win back to back lotteries. I kind of hope San Jose gets him because they truly deserve a franchise player.
I had Fantilli 4th oa on my board last year. He plays like a 4th line grinder with the skillset of a top 6 player. I'm still backing that claim. Fantilli's vision and playmaking were pretty average for a player that torched NCAA. He is very physically mature for his age and I think that is why he has been so successfulThere's no way Celebrini is more dynamic than Fantill. It's not even close, c'mon.
Fantilli seems more big fast and direct, Celebrini has more hockey IQ IMO.There's no way Celebrini is more dynamic than Fantill. It's not even close, c'mon.
Bedard and celebrini down the middle would be sick
Hein? At his best in Rimouski Lafrenière was good at protecting the puck and utilizing his body strength to create offense in tight spaces below the dots and he wasn’t that dangerous in transition. Celebrini can absolutely fly in transition and is best at utilizing his speed to back defenders up to create lanes to either find a pass or shoot; he doesn’t create a great deal in the dirty areas like Lafrenière, and is more like a MacKinnon type attacker in transition that uses his speed to open everything up.I see a lot of Lafreniere in his game
Lafreniere's skating was heralded as very good coming out of junior, just like Celebrini. Celebrini is a more aggressive skater though, for sure, and is more dynamic. I like the way he attacks defenders, but I think people forget how dangerous Lafreniere was 1-1 in the Q.Hein? Not to mention they don’t even play the same position
