Looks like when this thread was created back in 2021, demidov was considered 'tiny".

He's no slafkovsky in size but he certainly doesn't appear to be tiny anymore.

SKA is a +33, plus minus only is useful when evaluating two players on the same team and using that plus minus relative to the team..

Demidov is a relative -17, being a +16 on a +33 team is not a flex.
When you don't know how to do and apply math... Please, avoid from using math. That's not how you'd calculate a "relative +/-" (which would be compared to _teammates_, not team, think RelTM G± available on EH).

He might be wrong but the only reason Demidov, unlike Michkov, is not in the NHL, is his contract with SKA.

Again, really poor reasoning.

Ok…. I guess he isn’t a Calder candidate? What part of what I said is “really poor reasoning?”

This poster trolls about Demidov all day because he’s very upset that his team didn’t draft him

He also lies a LOT and I genuinely don’t think he’s ever even seen Demidov play before
He just posted a list where he has Demidov as the 5th best prospect in the KHL lmao. He’s got guys like Artamonov and Zavragin ahead of him, Silayev too 😂

Yeah he's a dog out there on the takeaways and defensive efforts , it's why some see him capable of playing C down the line , he has quite the attention to detail

This is why Bobrov loved him so much and why he was eager to draft him for several years, before the actual draft. It was beyond his skill and production.

High skill level, high compete level, great offensive production and attention to details at both ends of the ice. You rarely get all four in a single player. Let's hope he keeps it up.

Patrice Bergeron was a relative -93 when he won the selke in 2022-23 :help:
