He almost did it again in the 3rd....He drew a penalty at least.

Kids on easy mode now. This is against the best team in the conference, grown men, and this 18 year old kid is making swiss f***ing cheese of their defence. Best prospect out of Russia since kucherov. This kid is unbelievable. Absolute superstar in the making. He almost did it again in the 3rd....He drew a penalty at least.
This will probably traumatize all Habs fans for atleast the next 10-20 years, atleast we got 1 of the 2
Does that goal improve his relative +/-?
We weep everyday to that thought. Why all the comparisons to Michkov? It's not like Demidov being a ridiculous talent absolves the Habs for passing on Michkov.
Could you imagine Demidov and Michkov on the same line? JFC.
That was a loss for every hockey fan outside of Philly. I would've loved to see them together. We weep everyday to that thought.
Agree. We’d likely have Michkov and Buium, had things gone the other way. Even though I prefer Demidov over Michkov, I think I’d choose the combo of Michkov + Buium over Reinbacher + Demidov. Tough one. Reinbacher was just a terrible pick. At least that’s how it looks to me right now. Obviously, things could change, but I doubt it. Hated the Reinbacher pick from the start. While I disagree with it, I still don’t believe that HuGo would have taken Michkov and Demidov, especially after drafting another wing, even higher, in 2022 (Slaf). Habs were going right D one of those two years. Hopefully Orville will pan out.
Yeah but the problem is i dont think drafting Michkov has anything to do with Cooley and Nazar. So a forward core of Suzuki/Caufield/Slaf/Dach/Demidov/Michkov/Laine would be good and not tiny. Maybe in that scenario we dont draft Hage and a dmen instead tough.Demidov
Mickhov
Cooley
Suzuki
Caufield
Frank nazar
What could have been, top 6 that can damn near ride any ride at disneyland
I’m not sure if it’s updated but 19 pts in 22 games is .86 per . I’m too lazy to check decimal point comparison but I believe that’s almost exactly what Michkov / Kap produced . If that’s not the updated total he’s past the above pace .Is demidov now putting up the best ppg by a u-20 player?
Just realized that would have tied the game. Man...it would he great if he can translate that to NHL. Habs haven't had a real game breaker in my lifetime. He almost did it again in the 3rd....He drew a penalty at least.
He would be leading the KHL in points as an 18yo rookie and having the best season for a D+1 Russian prospect in history
Imagine getting laughed at and ridiculed for even suggesting to the Michkovites that he could be on the same tier level as Matvei.
Time will tell I suppose, but there's nothing to suggest different that Demidov isn't a bonified budding potential NHL all star. It's clear to see just how good he is.
It would be unfair yet still eligible next yearImagine him at the WJC...
If he got powerplay time he probably would be the leading scorer.19 pts in 22 games while playing 11 mins/game with barely any PP time. This is crazy. He's close to being the KHL leading scorer. Like wtf ?
For some of the people complaining in this thread, you can't blame Habs fans for being excited to see extremely talented players in the organization after so many years of average rosters carried by a superstar goaltender.
