Okay, who poked a sleeping Tiger and woke up a monster?
For both McKenna and the Tigers, 2 double digit score wins in a row!!

Holy Hannah! I was expecting this shit from next season, when the unicorn twins arrive.

All of the sudden, Gavin is just 4 points shy of 50.. (15 points in his last 7 games)
and just a while ago i was soooo disappointed in him,
- had barely 30 points and couldn't do anything right..

New Year, the real Gavin McKenna has arrived again

1G,, 2A tonight. He was ON it tonight. The best player on the ice on both ends, and was forechecking like a madman. Probably felt the need to elevate his game since MH only had 9 forwards and were missing Lindstrom, Basha and Mrsic.

Also, his shot is getting better and better. It's an asset now whereas last year it was a weakness.

His shot reminds me of Mikko Rantanen, The Moose scored pretty much from identical spot, a goal tonight vs Senators. Very limited movement, sneaky shot, just as Rants. Its a good type of shot for the pros.

3 more assists today. This kid is on some kind of hot streak. He may be the WHL leader in points the rate he's going. Also, very much leading the team without Basha or Lindstrom in the lineup.

I think I like Michael Misa better than McKenna. I think his game is more suited to the NHL.

Keep this streak on, remaining of the regular season
maybe score 100 points in your 15-16 year old season.

have your 16-17 and 17-18 seasons left, improve each season
who knows, you might be looking at 400 points

would be helluva thing to do

Misa has in the past played the more valuable position (switching between centre and wing in Saginaw), but I think McKenna’s skillset in much more dynamic and his vision and creativity rivals anyone in the past 10 years. Perhaps more holes to his game than Misa, but it’s hard to ignore the electricity in his game

I agree with you. I think the difference isn‘t massive between the two, McKenna I think has an extra offensive gear at times but they’re both high end players, who create offence well, but with McKenna he is better at creating offence by slowing down and being more methodical, where as Misa he‘s very good at creating offence off the rush. Nonetheless with both kids, offence comes off both of their sticks when they’re on the ice.

Next season I expect Misa to go full time C in Saginaw after they get gutted after their Memorial Cup push. And I expect him to play the same position in the NHL when he gets there. I also think Misa is a better skater. it’s close between the two, but I like Misa more as of now. I think he is more projectable, especially if he plays the C position going forward.
