That's actually pretty interesting. Frank is a relatively common name, so to have just 2 NHLers named Frank over the last (almost) half century is pretty crazy.

was just thinking he theoretically has 5 years before he has to go to rockford if he goes to ushl for a year then college for 4, korchinski has 2-3 max right?

I was thinking 3 years in college, not 4. I think 4 would be pretty uncommon for such a high pick.

Matt Grzelcyk did 4 years, as a 3rd rounder. That's all I can think of.
