Button wouldn't remember that.lol

However, Kulich stayed and seems to be on track to make NHL. I personally don't trust Kometa with prospects. Was hoping he'd go to CHL and am hoping he's in AHL next year.
I had my hopes out if the Sabres didn’t get Reinbacher that Sale could fall to them. Team him back up with Kulich in Rochester next year would be fascinating.

You guys will be Konecny next year. maybe. I think you'll like him! I'm obviously hoping Kulich is an NHL rookie but I have a bias for my countrymen!

He's been great! Best forward in both games. 2 goals today, 1 goal last time and a shootout goal. He had 3 glorious chances to get the hattrick today too! One was disallowed and I'm still puzzled about the call.

Not bad for a playmaker!

Won rookie of the year in Extraliga.. mixed bag of winners and not exactly a prestigious award but good for him! the last few winners look promising!

Sadly a weak game from him last night.. his inconsistency is infuriating. The motor is definitely on or off for him.. which is a shame, because if he was committed and implicated every night, he could be in the mix around pick 6.. but he's not, so the question is does he sneak into the back end of the top 10 or go in the teens?

I'm surprised Sale's getting no love after his performance today. That was the best game I've seen him play since the Hlinka Gretzky tournament and thought he was the best player on the ice bar none against a fairly loaded Canadian team. I'm not sure (and maybe even doubt) if he can drive an NHL line himself, but on the right team in the right situation he could be an absolute home run of a pick. There's also bust potential that you have to factor in, but games like that are the reason he's been in my top 10 all year.

He leads the teams in goals and is a playmaker.. he's all alone! 1 assist but not because he isn't passing, no Czech is finishing. Really curious where he plays next year. Agree that he won't carry a line, he'll be a great Oates to someone's Hull one day! (yes I know Oates was a C, not a perfect analogy.lol)

Yes, this was by far his best performance, I finally saw him fully engage in a match.

He's a top 10 talent all day.. but the compete is so hit or miss. He competed today and he looked awesome. If he competed hard every night, he absolutely could be in the same breath as Smith/Benson on tools.. but he just doesn't so I think it's likely he goes just outside the top 10.

I think some time in CHL would be much better than spending whole season in Extraliga playing 4th line minutes grinding.

Dream big. Maybe he will play in the AHL next season, like Kulich
Kulich is physical specimen, he was small but shredded and strong af along the boards when he was drafted and not ever half year after draft he grew from 5' 11'' to 6' 0'', Šalé is tall and skinny non physical guy relying on his smarts and skill, two totally different circumstances.

Agreed I think ultimately Sale’s upside is higher just because of what a natural playmaker he is but Kulich was suited to the AHL path in his D+1 better.

I’d like to see Sale in the OHL next year. I think after a start-stop year in a bit role on a men’s team…I’d let him soak in all the minutes as the offensive driver at the CHL level.

what’s a good comparison for sale. I see some Elias Petterson or am i off the mark

Stylistically that's what I see too. Obviously not as good.

Mine is unpopular but I say Hemsky. I get he doesn't fly around like prime Hemsky but his playmaking ability is my comparable.

How can you be like Hemsky if you can't move like Hemsky?

I think he will move like him eventually. But the vision and passing and seeing lanes that aren't there? That's all the Pardubice Prince!
