That would shock me. You never know though. Only takes one team willing to take a punt and prepared to reach for upside. Having said that, this draft is very forward heavy and Dvorsky has been sort of trending in the wrong direction, at least relative to his competition. The upside is still there of course but he's been passed over last season so based on that, in my view he's more of an option for the backhalf of the 1st.

A big centre with elite hockey sense, elite competitiveness and I believe the offence is there when he plays in his peer group. The only knock is he’s not an explosive skater.”

That scout isn’t the only one who believes Dvorsky warrants inclusion in the Super Six.

“Don’t sleep on Dvorsky,” another said.

No, if they like where he is after his year next year they can play him in the NHL. But, I think 2 years over in the SHL is the right development path for him, anyway.

It would be more of a surprise if he’s there at 9, than if Columbus takes him at 3.

Are you confusing Dvorsky with Honzek?
Dvorsky is a project. The opposite of mature. His transition to pro hockey failed for now. He also projects as more of a sniper/winger than a creative two way Center. He's quite a bit smaller, too.
