Playing Allsvenskan (All Svens Can?) doesn't seem like a very common route for top U18 prospects.
Not uncommon either.Playing Allsvenskan (All Svens Can?) doesn't seem like a very common route for top U18 prospects.
3/4 of the 2022 Swedish 1st round picks spent this post-draft season in Allsvenskan.Playing Allsvenskan (All Svens Can?) doesn't seem like a very common route for top U18 prospects.
I think it’s likely one of Philly, Washington or Detroit imo. Unless habs take Reinbacher then maybe Arizona has a look.Dark horse for 5, but most likely is gone between 6-8.
I hope he will not end in Montreal. This is not the best destination for player's development..I think Montreal takes him at 5
Praying for DetroitI hope he will not end in Montreal. This is not the best destination for player's development..
That would shock me. You never know though. Only takes one team willing to take a punt and prepared to reach for upside. Having said that, this draft is very forward heavy and Dvorsky has been sort of trending in the wrong direction, at least relative to his competition. The upside is still there of course but he's been passed over last season so based on that, in my view he's more of an option for the backhalf of the 1st.I think Montreal takes him at 5

well you got what you wanted, he was just signed by a SHL teamPlaying Allsvenskan (All Svens Can?) doesn't seem like a very common route for top U18 prospects.
the later. So when a team announces his name next week do they say from “AIK in the Allsvenskan” or ‘Oskarshamn in the SHL” ?
What do they say when Benson gets drafted? He’s being drafted out of Winnipeg…which is moving to a place he’s never been and hasn’t physically happened yet.So when a team announces his name next week do they say from “AIK in the Allsvenskan” or ‘Oskarshamn in the SHL” ?
agh, didn't know that. thank you.SHL contracts are immaterial as there's a transfer agreement with the NHL. It's the Russian contracts that muddy the works
2 year contract, you guys think it will affect his draft position?
or i quess most teams didn't expect him to jump into the nhl in the next two years anyways.
Are you confusing Dvorsky with Honzek?Am I wrong if he reminds me of Anze Kopitar? With his maturity, hockey IQ and defensive awareness he truly has 1C upside.

Dvorsky is a project. The opposite of mature. His transition to pro hockey failed for now. He also projects as more of a sniper/winger than a creative two way Center. He's quite a bit smaller, too.
