I have to imagine a CHL team drafted him, so there's a chance he could go there and play ?
Nah, almost no NCAA players leave for the CHL now. And he would be an overager next, really no point. With the immediate eligibility rule in the NCAA, he's far more likely to end up at Colorado College or Omaha as opposed to any team in the Dub

Northern Michigan is going through a full roster rebuild, he could probably get consistent top 6 minutes there.

Assuming Huglen and Moore are staying, they'd both be ahead of him to start. He'd be battling it out for the #3C spot with Clark (who outperformed him last year) and any incoming freshmen.

MSU is also a pretty young team. They have a few players with decisions but if Isaac Howard, Karsen Dorwart, Daniel Russell, Red Savage, Joey Larson and Gavin O'Connell all elect to return (the latter three were a line for most of the season and would likely stay that way), it could be a fairly crowded group for Stramel to step into.
