I thought it would be worse. In the 1st period Russia was better, but I think we played solid in the 2nd. They just can't finish. Also, defense isn't very good, but that was expected.

I hope Sobotka's injury isn't serious and that he will be able to play, but if it is serious, they just HAVE TO take Vrana... if they don't...
 
I really wish him success, but damn Jandac looks so stoned there. Those guys need some confidence buy he is the last one to give it. Same story...

And Voracek behave like an idiot in media...
 
I was under the impression this tournament was for NHL players only. Why is Datsyuk and Shipachyov on the team?

Yes, absolutely. Telegin is too. Telegin would be great on the 4th line for an NHL team. Shipachev definitely an NHL level player too.

It's nice that they did the rink adjustments. I find the NHL rink actually benefits Russia with the faster pace, you guys look good. Best team of the 4 teams I've seen today.
