A solid game from the Czechs, too bad we don't have a goal scorer like Panarin or Tarasenko. That was the biggest difference between both teams, imo.

I watched first period and parts of second and third - I've seen him make solid glove saves, and he made a couple nice desperate saves too

No, he just looked relax, thats what you guys never got from him, if we talk about Milan Michalek ) There are two guys who never dissapoint in national team and always underachieve in NHL- Hemsky and Milan Michalek. I am just afraid that this czech coach is not a guy who is able to untie their hands and legs...

The Czechs flat out dominated on face-offs (especially in the offensive zone) today. If this happens against better teams, team Russia will have tons of problems.

The hyperbole is out of control. Its an exhibiton game and the first time the guys been on the ice since the playoffs. Not saying ovi will dominate, but he will get up to speed. Not sure when these boards decided one of the best goal scorers of all time was bad at hockey, but it's ridiculous

Unfortunately Ovechkin is not known to be highly successful for the national team
